To 4 and 5, this is eerily similar to anti-affirmative action groups using rejected Asian students to sue Harvard in attempt to stop affirmative action admission policy nytimes.com/2019/10/01/us/ha…
We must reject these efforts and work together.
Re: the @JAHA_AHA paper:
1. Editor in chief has apologized
2. The apology is good, but not enough
3. Diversity does improve care and save lives
4. Asians need to speak out against anti Black racism
5. Blacks need to speak out against anti Asian racism
5. MORE TO COME. Stay tuned
As always, @DrQuinnCapers4 makes great points. Pitting one minority group against another is a way to distract from the real issues of racism. Unfortunately, being a minority does not immunize you from being a racist, but we have to work together to end all racism.

Thank you for leadership! With a full retraction, publications of full rebuttal, and public affirmation of values you and other leaders at AHA espouse, may be this can end up being a net positive in this important struggle. @DrQuinnCapers4, @PittCardiology, @KBerlacher
It is what we are and who we are. We know we have to continue to work and fight to preserve and improve the culture of D&I and we are committed to do it!
Diversity and inclusion enrich our lives and help us to optimally care for the communities we serve. @PittCardiology @KBerlacher @leejoon @MikeMathier
