Epic wine dinner tonight at Sushi Kozy where Chefs Paul Ko and RJ Yoakum crafted a spectacular menu to accompany 1947 Lafite, 1947 Latour, 1947 Latour à Pomerol and 1947 Calon Segur, along with some special white Burgundies and vintage Champagnes.
Great fun learning to ice climb in Ouray, Colorado. I thought I was in decent shape…until I woke up this morning. Time to get back at it.
Although our summit bid was ultimately unsuccessful due to extreme, prolonged winds (60+ mph) and cold (-22F), this has truly been an amazing journey through the Himalayas. Grateful for the love and support of my family and friends and an amazing climbing group.
The real heroes who help us mere mortals summit in the Himalayas. Thank you, Ngima Tenzing Sherpa, Pemba Tamang, Ngawang Nuri Sherpa, and Ngima Tendi Sherpa!
