Lloyd Irish on Yesterday’s Very Successful Charity Match! 🦚 Head of Football Lloyd Irish said: “It was great to be involved in the charity match on Sunday, in aid of the Barnaby Webber Trust. I was called up at 8.30 on the morning of the game due to a drop out, but for such a great cause it was a no brainer, despite aching from Saturday’s match. The match was great fun, a really entertaining day, and it was great that so many celebrities travelled fair distances to support the charity. Being from Taunton, it impacted all of us, and it was lovely to spend some time with the Webber family after the game. Hopefully the club can host more events to support the charity. Once again, thank you to everyone who attended and donated. Your support does not go unrecognised.🙌 #UpThePeacocks 🦚

Everyone at Taunton Town Football Club would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Bill as he leaves the club to take up a full-time position at a National League football club. Since joining the club, Bill has transformed our social media presence, leading the team to an incredible 21.4 million views across our X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube platforms. Our following across the Meta channels has grown by 25%, while our content now reaches millions of people each month, with some individual posts performing exceptionally well - including an Instagram video which surpassed 4 million views and another which reached more than 1.5 million views. Through his creativity, professionalism, and dedication, he has helped modernise the way we communicate with supporters, increased engagement across our platforms, and played a significant role in strengthening the connection between the club and our community. While we are naturally disappointed to see him leave, we are immensely proud of what he has achieved during his time with us and delighted to see him take the next step in his career. Opportunities like this are thoroughly deserved and reflect the hard work, talent, and commitment he has shown every day. As a club, we are passionate about providing opportunities for young people to develop, gain experience, and flourish. We believe one of our responsibilities is to help create pathways for talented individuals, whether on the pitch or off it. Seeing people progress to bigger opportunities is something we celebrate, and Bill's move is a fantastic example of that.
