This is the funniest announcement I've seen in weeks: "The European Union is working toward fast-track antitrust approval for a satellite joint venture between Leonardo SpA, Airbus SE, and Thales SA, which is positioned as Europe's response to SpaceX" We know pretty much how this is going to go. With a vast wheezing and clanking of bureaucratic gears, the consortium be approved. It will provide extremely comfortable livings for a vast horde of bureaucrats, consultants, and hangers-on. White papers and bold, forward-looking plans will issue like confetti. After approximately a decade of extremely expensive grinding, the consortium will have approximately the productive output of a wet fart.
The damage for SpaceX is massive "The European Union is working toward fast-track antitrust approval for a satellite joint venture between Leonardo SpA, Airbus SE, and Thales SA, which is positioned as Europe's response to SpaceX" The actions of the 🇺🇸 US administration have consequences. Recent reports from 4 sources confirm that both Elon and Trump supported the restrictions of Starshield, which confirms my earlier posts stating that SpaceX is involved and part of it. The Telegraph on Oct. 16 reported that it was Musk who proposed the speed cap to Trump — and Trump "agreed," one source said. That sounds very likely to what really had happened including Elons denial to have any responsibility (half true) and Trumps lie which is just one more of the many he spreads every day. finance.yahoo.com/economy/po…

Europe gives them free healthcare, free housing, free education, every social program, and a quality of life they could never have back home… yet they will still loot and destroy the West into the third-world. There is no magic soil. A nation is simply it’s people.

Almost nobody realizes that just about every liberal feel-good nostrum has been tested by liberal social scientists over the last 60 years, with practically none of them turning out true. That was already fairly well established when I started reading social science in 1972.

The look of a leftist discovering reality – this is not how she imagined it – it is called a cognitive dissonance. The French leftists are going to get a lot of that.

.@VP: "We didn't just talk about closing the border — we actually did it. We didn't just talk about getting opioid overdose deaths down — we actually did it. We didn't just talk about bringing trillions of dollars of new investment into the country — we actually did it. I do think you have to raise the flag and celebrate your accomplishments a little bit, but I do fundamentally think you have to make a promise to the American voter — a believable promise — that you can continue to work on the things that they care about today."

Canada, I’m warning you now. When Carney signs that associate member deal with the EU, here’s what happens next, step by step. First, Trump doesn’t wait. He doesn’t send a diplomat. He doesn’t call a summit. He just acts. Energy gets hit first because that’s where Canada hurts most. Oil and gas flowing south slows down or stops. Not because Trump hates Canada, but because it’s the fastest way to make the point that choosing Europe has a price. Then it spreads. Autos, steel, aluminum, lumber, potash, beef. Every sector that depends on the American markte feels it within weeks, not years. The Canadian dollar drops. Interest rates climb. Provinces start cutting services because the money isn’t coming in like it used to. Europe won’t save us. They’ll issue statements. They’ll hold meetings. They’ll say they’re standing with Canada. But they can’t buy what we sell, they can’t ship it across the ocean at the same cost, and they can’t protect us if it turns into something worse than a trade fight. An associate membership gives them influence over our rules without giving us anything that actually replaces what we’re losing. And here’s the part that should scare you most. This isn’t about one election or one prime minister. It’s about whether Canada stays a country that controls its own future or become a place where outside powers decide what we can and can’t do. The Monroe Doctrine was written 200 hundred years ago to keep Europe out. Trump is using it now to keep everyone out, including us if we don’t play along. You can call it fearmongering. You can call it politics. But the math doesn’t care what you call it. Three out of four things we sell go south. No deal with Brussels changes that. Not now, not in five years, not in twenty. So before you cheer for this and lift your elbows higher ask the people selling it one simple question. What exactly replaces the American market? Because if they can’t answer that, they’re not leading. They’re just hoping you won’t notice. We seem to be on a suicide mission and signing that Associate Membership with the EU is just tightening the noose! This isn’t a game!

The Left may have once sincerely believed that they were trying to give immigrants a better life while the whole time, the immigrants never wanted the life the Left believed was better This was obvious decades ago but the Left made it a moral test and refused to change
To be demoralized is to have your sense of reality so inverted that you fail to recognize you are in a state of war, mistake those attacking you for victims, and willingly assist them in undermining your own society while believing you are doing something good.

To those who continue to insist that mail-in voting is as secure as in-person voting, when was the last time you received EIGHT ballots when voting in person?
Just received more mail-in-ballots addressed to strangers with my address on them! This makes eight total this year, two different elections, all different names. Only 18 days until Election Day, I wonder if we will get more…Pass the SAVE America Act! Ps. What the heck am I supposed to do with these?

Quote: “A flying car is what men do when they are free. A wealth tax is what politicians do to the men who built it. One of them needs the other to survive, and it isn't Musk.”
A car flew last night. An actual car, flipping in midair on cold gas thrusters and landing on its wheels. Elon Musk's companies built a sports car that does what science fiction promised for a century. The same man lands rockets on barges and builds the machines that carry our astronauts. That is what one free mind, and the thousands of minds he employs, can produce. Bernie Sanders says billionaires should not exist. He looks at the man who makes cars fly and concludes the problem to solve is that such men keep too much of what they create. He has spent five decades in government producing nothing, yet he claims the moral authority to dispose of the men who produce everything. A man who seeks unearned control over the lives and property of others is corrupt in the fullest meaning of the word, and that corruption runs deeper than any bribe. A flying car is what men do when they are free. A wealth tax is what politicians do to the men who built it. One of them needs the other to survive, and it isn't Musk.

So yeah, the Democrats nominated a race scientist who studied the hazards of Arab outgroup mating, with family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, for Senate. Will Michigan voters elect him?
Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed’s scientific research is…odd. Arab mothers who engage in “interethnic mating” have worse birth outcomes than those who mate with Arab men? Also: Genetics, black race, and interracial mating? Why research this?  WTF?

Had the border not been sealed America would have been lost. Never before has such an existential promise been kept so fully and completely — against unrelenting and unceasing opposition from the entire Democrat Party and Democrat lawyers, judges, NGOs, media and politicians.
17 months of a secured border. It's morning again, America.

Funny thing I notice every time I talk to French people who've never lived in the US. They see Americans as the bad guys. "They lobby Brussels." "They crush our companies." "They take all the value." Here's the truth: Americans aren't the problem. They're just playing the game. And they play it extremely well. You write absurd rules? They'll play by your absurd rules. They have more capital, more talent, more speed, better execution. So they win. Every single time. That's not imperialism. That's competition. The only ones responsible for Europe's situation are Europeans. More precisely, our inability to get rid of the central planners who keep stacking absurd regulation on top of absurd regulation, and the bureaucrats like Macron who think building a tech ecosystem means writing plans, hosting summits and launching useless commissions. You don't create startups with a five-year plan. You create them by getting out of the way. Silicon Valley wasn't built at a summit. It was built by people who were allowed to take risks, fail, raise money and hire fast. As long as these people run Europe, nothing will happen. Absolutely nothing. Stop blaming Washington. Look in the mirror.

Surround yourself with people who see a flying car and say, "Awesome!" Not people who see a flying car and say, "It's not actually flying" or "I don't see the point." This post is not about cars :)

The reduction in homicide experienced by El Salvador is the most extreme fall ever recorded.
My latest article is about El Salvador. The country has become safe--I've rigorously documented that and shown that every objection falls flat--but will that lead to growth? Will El Salvador become rich? Link: cremieux.xyz/p/will-el-salva…
