hey hello! My name is Mira (or Miranda or Faun). I’m an illustrator-person who finds joy in natural history, hunting for lil bugs, creating creatures, and playing Pokemon. ⎝(ˊᆺ ˋ) I went to school for Biology and Science Illustration! she / they ⁺✦ faunwood.com

the glaze on this one didn’t go as planned, but I’m looking forward to making more! I have like 10 things coming out of the glaze kiln on Monday including that possum piece I was posting updates abt. All limbs are crossed <3

Guys, we’re saved! I see… a cactus…
In this digital painting, we see Sokka in the desert. This is a depiction of the season 2, episode 11 “The Desert”. We see Sokka shielding his eyes to look into the distance, with Momo perched on his shoulder, copying him and also shielding his eyes to look into the distance, with his ears out behind him mimicking the shapes of Sokka’s ponytail. The sky is bright and blue, the ground in the distance is hot sand.
