Merion's "magical" U.S. Amateur week ended up being about something bigger than golf.
A week of golf bliss ended with a story about a father's dream for his son, a son's wish to repay his father and the moment both wishes came true at a golf cathedral.

I had a great time last night listening to @KieranMaguire and @kevinhunterday of the @POF_POD at @RotherhamUnited New York Stadium.
Some eye opening stories thanks guys, hope you come back again in the future.
A first for me today. Left with 10 mins to go. Truly awful performance from Rotherham.
@RotherhamUnited things have to change and quick.

It’s Friday night/Saturday morning, I’ve had a cracking time recording UTT, few adult beverages supped. Must be #DoctorWho #73Yards time!

🤳 | Viktor has done plenty of video messages for us in his time.
We thought he deserved some back.
On the final day of the season, we went to the Cutlers Arms to ask Millers fans to let Viktor know how grateful they are to him.
Here's a video of Vik watching a selection of them back home in Sweden earlier today. 😢 ❤️

🚨Special Message from Viktor @Viktor1898
At 9am this Saturday The @CutlersArms will open early at his request with a special treat for Millers Fans.
The first 600 pints (1 per person) are being paid for by Viktor as a THANK YOU (Not Goodbye) for your support.
Each drink comes with a card and a message written by Viktor, to the fans that you can save forever.
This is something special, from someone special, so get down early, grab a beer and raise a glass to our Viking.
There will also be a signed Viktor shirt on display behind the bar so dig deep and buy some raffle tickets please, all proceeds go to the Rotherham Hospice.
This is an unbelievable gesture and show of appreciation for the support given to Viktor from the #rufc fans
Special shout out to Brett @ BSB Printing for the cards and the team at Cutlers for helping put this on.
