What should be done about this ugly anti-black racism? Or should we just say this is protected speech?

The use of police on students shows you the folly of an overly funded and dominate police-only public safety system - when u are a hammer, every situation is a nail. In a country that remembers Kent State and Jackson State, still sending armed response to student protest. shame.

REQUEST: I’m asking that yall share these images because the media wants to portray our Encampment and calls for divestment from a genocidal state as antisemitic.
Yet many interfaith activities have been hosted with love and community in our spaces and the media won’t report that.
Antizionism ≠ antisemitism
🚨 EARLIER TODAY:
FROM THE UNION THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY (UTS) SCHOOL
“The Interfaith Justice Caucus of Union Theological Seminary were presented with the opportunity to host a Passover Seder on our Quad for our neighbors, and particularly suspended Columbia and Barnard Jewish students.
Therefore, we have our quad for this Passover Seder to show solidarity and unwavering support for students that have called for justice and liberation through their sacrifice and their bodies. As we are entering the blessed week of Passover, it's important that we remember to ensure unity in the struggle for Palestinian liberation across all faiths and especially those among the Jewish tradition that push back against the notions that Judaism is Zionism and anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism. In remembrance of our ancestor Moses who urged Pharaoh: “Let My People Go” we urge the Pharaohs that be around us to let all of our people go, especially the indigenous Palestinians who are resisting their occupation and ethnic cleansing.”
