Yesterday, as has been the case for so many days of my life the last 11 years, I was inspired by @anaffy Angel Nafis who said "shut the hell up when love is talking." I made an image about it. For my phone and stuff.

Take an inventory of change in the last 3 months. Then the last 3 years. Are there any sets of 3s? Were there patterns? Identify one pattern and imitate it on the page. If this life pattern had a shape, what would it be? Explore it through language and space on the page.

Gate 42, Day 4. Write yourself out of the stairwell of a building you remember from your past. Have the conversation you couldn't have before. #NaPoWriMo #HumanDesign #GeneKeys #Gate42 #GeneKey42 #poetryprompt

Sometimes I forget that trusting the process means trusting that process is always going to get you where you need to go. Inspiration might get you half way. Gotta trust the process to get you the rest of the way.

Been sharing these on IG but thought I might as well share them here to. Poetry or writing prompts based on Human Design and Gene Keys. Today is for Gate 42 - The Gate of Growth. Or in Gene Keys - Expectation - Detachment - Celebration. Tell me about the start of your story.

I really just came on Twitter to see if anyone else was talking about why the @zillow dots have turned blood red. But no, it's just me.

The First Drag Show was a Church Service. (I recorded the audio on my phone right after I wrote it but decided not to re-record because it captures the feeling well.)

This news breaks my heart. Adam was one of the first board members of @okcpridefest and I was so proud to see him elected Mayor of The Village. Like no one even knew The Village had a mayor until Adam. Like it felt like the People of The Village finally had a voice.
For almost five years, I've proudly served The Village as Councilmember and Mayor. It's been an honor to serve and it's been my great privilege to break boundaries. I no longer feel safe to serve in my capacity here. It's with a heavy-heart that I tender my resignation.

Congrats to OKC for voting to re-establish a human rights commission! It’s much needed in this current political environment. Proud of my friend Councilman Stone for casting the deciding vote. 💪💪💪

I’m learning that some feminists don’t understand how patriarchy works so I made a little chart to illustrate some of the impact.

My question is: Why was Macy Gray on Piers Morgan talking about transwomen at all?

Only got on Twitter to see what nonsense @MacyGraysLife and @BetteMidler are spewing about my loved ones.

My husband and best friend are both men with uteruses who could become pregnant against their will. I’m a woman with a uterus who was lucky enough to have abortion access when that happened to me. Oddly enough that was back when your music was still relevant in my life.

It breaks my heart to know that two women I formerly respected have such uneducated opinions about bodies & gender & power. Like did you miss the Genderbread illustration going around in the early 2000s? I mean there are updates now but this a good starter.
