CD Tenerife have announced the tragic passing of their striker Jesús de Miguel on Tuesday morning. During yesterday’s match against FC Andorra, De Miguel suffered a serious collision with the opposing goalkeeper in the closing stages of the game.
He received emergency medical attention on the pitch before being taken to hospital, and the match was abandoned.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends, teammates and everyone at CD Tenerife during this incredibly difficult time ❤️

Weird game. The 0 shots on target stat is going to skew the perspective a bit. We played well, but costly mistakes in big games and failing to take our chances ultimately cost us.
