Blacks are ~13.5% of the US population. FBI 2025 data: they account for 55% of known murder offenders and ~30-43% of violent crime arrests. Homicide and robbery rates would fall sharply (most crime is intraracial).
Median Black household income is ~$60k vs ~$97k for non-Hispanic Whites. Black wealth share is ~3-4%. They are overrepresented in SNAP (~26%) and TANF (~28%). Net fiscal contribution is lower; crime and incarceration impose large costs.
Total GDP would shrink ~8-10%, but per capita income, wealth, and safety would rise as lower-output groups and associated burdens are removed.

According to Census ACS data (2014-2023) analyzed by CIS, 81% of Somali immigrant-headed households in Minnesota receive some form of welfare (cash, SNAP, or Medicaid), vs 21% of native households. 54% get SNAP, 73% Medicaid. For households with children: 89%. Minnesota state demographer data shows ~84% of Somali-ancestry individuals receive SNAP, Medicaid, or public assistance.

NEW: Democrats want American taxpayers to cover immigrants’ healthcare training—and pay their living expenses while they study for licensing exams.
Reps. Adam Smith and Raja Krishnamoorthi introduced H.R. 10708 on October 1.
The bill explicitly authorizes:
“providing a living stipend to individuals studying for such examination.”
The proposed federal grants could also cover:
• Nursing and allied-health education.
• Licensing and certification exams.
• Exam preparation.
• English classes.
Previous healthcare experience? NOT required, according to Smith’s announcement.
There’s more: the bill would override citizenship requirements so eligible immigrants could access National Health Service Corps scholarships and student-loan repayment.
Eligibility includes green-card holders, refugees, asylum recipients and other work-authorized immigrants.
Federal funding to train immigrants for healthcare jobs—even starting from scratch—with living stipends during exam study.
The legislation is pending.

Through this deep dive and the over a million court cases we have combed through, we have launched an American First Index (AFI) for the site. (More on it as we improve the metrics and refine deeper.)
Out of 58 sitting foreign-born Article III judges, 43 were appointed by Biden or Obama. Among those drawn from ACLU and public defender pipelines, border enforcement is blocked over 80% of the time and 60% of criminal sentences fall below federal guidelines.
We have added an interactive tool on bench receipts that allows you to drill down and look at how each of these judges behave on the bench.
This is just the start. The federal judges are easier to identify than the state level judges. I assume there are 100s if not 1000+ foreign born or first-gen American on our benches.
They do not judge on our laws, they judge on the culture they came from. This is a huge reason our country has lost its identity.

Vaping Strongly Linked to Lung Cancer | Joe Wilkins, Futurism
If you’re one of the over 100 million people around the world who regularly hits the vape, you might want to think about ways to start cutting back.
According to some recent research by scientists from Seoul National University and published in Nature Medicine, the use of non-tobacco devices like vapes and e-cigarettes to help quit smoking carries a strong link with the development of lung cancer.
The researchers analyzed anonymous health data from over 4.5 million Korean adults. They were split into three main groups: current smokers, short-term quitters, and long-term quitters. They were then categorized by whether they vaped daily during a 2018 screening in the Korean National Health survey, with adjustments to control for factors like age, sex, and prior health conditions.
In all, scientists found that those who had turned to vaping after quitting traditional cigarettes developed lung cancer at a rate about 56 percent higher than those who quit entirely. Alarmingly, incidents of lung cancer death among vape users nearly doubled, with a lung cancer-specific death rate 91 percent higher than non-vape users.
Of course, there’s an important group that falls outside the bounds of the study: anyone who got hooked on vaping without trying cigarettes first. It’d be fascinating to learn more about their fates, but the implication of the study — that vaping is turbocharging the chances of cancer among former smokers — is almost certainly cause for alarm.
While it may be easy for non-smokers to roll their eyes at the findings, it’s important to note that empirical data on the relationship between vaping and lung cancer remains relatively scarce.
“Although epidemiological and biological studies support the association between e-cigarettes and various respiratory disorders, evidence regarding the relationship between e-cigarettes and lung cancer risk remains limited,” the researchers wrote.
It’s an observational study, meaning that it can’t establish true causality. Going forward, more research is needed to say for sure whether there’s a causal association between vaping and cancer — but the early data doesn’t look pretty.

Claude found a pattern.
Dario doesn't trust rival labs. Or authoritarian states. He doesn't trust markets to share the gains fairly, institutions to act quickly enough, and, after Mythos, the government to use power in the open. That is a long list of people who can't be trusted.
The list of people who can is very short, and it keeps narrowing to those who think the way he does, playing by rules he helped write.
Claude's label for it was not megalomania. It was "epistemic exceptionalism": the calm, defensible belief that anyone who disagrees must have made a mistake.
The giveaway was one word. When the Mythos situation fell apart, Anthropic called it a misunderstanding, which assumes everyone would agree with him if they only understood.
David Sacks summed it up on the All-In podcast: they think AI is extremely dangerous and that only they are good enough to control it.
That isn't a safety framework. It's a monopoly that comes with its own philosophy.
