Our response to Assisted Dying Bill vote 👉 mariecurie.org.uk/media/pres… The #AssistedDyingBill debate has raised much needed awareness today about the need for better palliative and end of life care. At this stage, the law on assisted dying has not changed and the bill will go through many more months of consideration. But while the conversation continues, too many people are dying in unnecessary pain and often alone, because the current system is failing them. End of life care needs fixing.

Some thoughts on tomorrow’s vote on Assisted Dying, on the importance of being compassionate, and on avoiding the kind of “winner takes all” approach that was so ruinous & unrepresentative after the Brexit referendum
