I am VERY impressed with the #technology Polycam has added to their app. It is built on top of a new Swift API that utilizes the camera and LiDAR Scanner on #iphone and iPad to create a real #digitaltwin.

Today we said goodbye to my Nonna Messenger. Among so many other things she was the family communicator in chief, her name an apt description. She never stopped adapting to new ways of being connected: postcard to typewriter, letters to email, pen to ipad, and VR in her nineties.
She tried Google cardboard, Oculus Go, Quest 1 - by the time the Quest 2 headset came about she found it too heavy for her head, having recovered from a spinal injury. So we did AR instead, scanning garden plants, a statue, tree trunks..and bringing them into the living room.
