🇬🇭 TRAFFITECH-GH cameras will start full enforcement from 1 October 2026. One penalty unit is GH₵12. Fines and possible imprisonment 1. Using a phone while driving — up to GH₵600; up to 3 months 2. Drink or drug driving — GH₵600 to GH₵2,400; up to 40 months 3. Jumping a red light — GH₵120 to GH₵360; up to 30 days 4. Street or drag racing /Speeding— GH₵120 to GH₵300; up to 30 days 5. Parking in a disability bay — up to GH₵300; up to 8 months 6. Operating a TV monitor while driving — up to GH₵300; up to 30 days 7. Okada or aboboyaa operating without authorisation — operator GH₵600 to GH₵1,200, up to 24 months; rider GH₵300 to GH₵600, up to 8 months 8. Overcharging passengers — GH₵120 to GH₵300; up to 30 days 9 Boarding or alighting at the wrong place — up to GH₵60; up to 7 days 10. Jaywalking or refusing to use a footbridge — GH₵60; up to 7 days 11. Preaching or hawking in a moving trotro or bus — GH₵120 to GH₵600; up to 8 months 12. Selling goods on the road or walkway — up to GH₵600; up to 3 months 13. Washing or repairing a vehicle on the road — up to GH₵300; up to 30 days Camera penalties under TRAFFITECH-GH: 
1st to 3rd offence — GH₵120 4th offence — GH₵180 5th offence — GH₵240 A sixth offence within 24 months may lead to court action and licence suspension or revocation for at least 12 months, with retraining and retesting. Camera notices will be issued to the registered owner of the vehicle.
