You know when everyone was like "I trained my agent to speak caveman to save tokens" and I was like "wow wait'll they hear about using terse, precise words to prompt computers"? Really missed my chance to tweet "tech bros discover computer programming". Damn.

Ok so now I have a bunch of .md files about me. The instance that set this up gave limited write access to the other instances (only to specific files relevant to those convos), but they didn't obey it and the original instance is being snarky at them. This tool is so weird 😂
One further step in my transition to tech bro: I'm having Claude build itself a little memory system about me. Because yesterday I asked it how long a particular convo had been going, because I was too lazy to scroll all the way up, and it had to think about it for 5 minutes.

I mean "gave write access" it just told them which files they were supposed to edit in start-here.md, but nobody listened

You are becoming one of the elite humans piloting the AI mecha software factory; I am reinventing utterly jank versions of existing software in Google Apps Script. We are not the same. (I am weirdly good at this highly questionable activity

Messing with the delicate balance of grain exports through the Black Sea has been an issue since the very start of Russia's full-scale war on Ukraine.

Can I volunteer to be a spy? I am often strange and at playgrounds with a child.
OPENAI to EMPLOYEES: If someone is trying to seduce you, first consider — could they be a spy??? OpenAI is warning its employees about honeypot spies and strangers with children in playgrounds ... a very fun one with @georgia_wells and @MeghanBobrowsky: wsj.com/tech/ai/ai-companies…

I've been searching for wordcel LLM use cases for about six months, and so far the best one I've found is copy editing Russian. I do a lot of business comms in Russian, which is not my native language I know many, many people have this situation with English. Maybe useful advice:

Anyway, the takeaway is that I have graduated from Claude Russian School, I hardly ever make mistakes in written Russian anymore. My Russian was near-native before, and I've put two decades into it without AI, but I still made pesky grammar errors all the time.

And my Russian colleagues are either too polite to correct me, or too busy, and my kind of sloppy Russian writing was good enough, so I never improved. Anyway, excellent teaching tool, legitimately useful professional thing that I could not have done fully on my own.
