I told your operative some extremely personal vulnerabilities weeks ago. To date I've heard nothing back, yet you have today taken money from my account. This, despite me informing you I cannot afford this and all DDs were 2b stopped!! @GoDaddy

There is no other material on earth that can do what a fleece does, and it grows on an animal that eats grass. It keeps a sheep alive on a Welsh hill in February, in sleet, with no shelter. It keeps a Bedouin cool in the Sahara in August. It keeps a person warm when it is soaked through, which is why mountaineers wore it to the top of Everest. It will not burn. Put a match to it and it chars and goes out, which is why it lines aircraft seats and theatre curtains. It absorbs a third of its weight in sweat and gives off heat while it does it. It blocks the sun. A wool shirt has the ultraviolet rating of a decent sunscreen. It does not smell. The surface stays too dry for the bacteria that make a shirt stink. It stretches a third of its length and springs back, so a sock holds its shape for years. It stops sound. Recording studios and classrooms line the walls with it. It stops cold in a loft as well as fibreglass does, without the itch. It soaks up oil, which is why the mats laid on spills are made of it. It dyes deeper than anything, which is why a Persian rug is still red after 300 years. It felts into a tent that a Mongolian family lives in through a minus 40 winter. And when it finally wears out, it rots into fertiliser, and the next sheep eats the grass it grew. Every one of those jobs now has a synthetic doing it worse. The sheep had all of them covered before the chemist was born, and it does it again every spring for nothing.

This is not fabric. It's oil paint. No photography could do this yet. So Gavriil Yakovlev had to paint every single thread by hand. Look at it. The lace, the silk bows, the pearls sinking into skin, the tulle veil so thin you can see her shoulders through it. Even the cameo on her bracelet. This is Ekaterina Nikolaevna Volotskaya. She was 21 when she sat for this in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Gavriil Yakovlev, 1855

Two coyotes chased a baby deer into our pasture. It ran straight under our biggest mare... She's nineteen hundred pounds and she would not move off that fawn. She stamped and kicked until both coyotes gave up. Then she put her nose down to check on it.

WOOL ISN'T WORTHLESS 🐑💚 Can we talk about how ridiculous it is that such an incredible natural material is so often undervalued? Let's get a few things straight 👇 Wool is a natural, renewable fibre It's biodegradable under suitable conditions, unlike many synthetic fibres It's breathable, insulating and useful for clothing, carpets and insulation Many sheep need shearing for their welfare, whether the fleece is worth much money or not Yet for some farmers, the return from selling wool doesn't even cover the cost of shearing Think about that We live in a world increasingly concerned about plastic, synthetic materials and sustainability And here we have a natural fibre growing on the backs of British sheep Surely we can find more ways to value it British wool deserves a future, not a waste pile 🐑🇬🇧

Someone needs to contact me ASAP! My friend is a regular guest, and I've been here now more than a couple of times! Staff were aggressive and had no customer relation skills! They were quite rude! The DM came and sided with them without using any skills whatsoever. @HolidayInn
