i come on here everyday and see countless people grieve on the tl about funds that they lost to bad actors either through wallet drains etc
even OG crypto persons fall victim
active hot wallets and dormant cold wallets fall prey alike

Pump is bringing some of its execution infrastructure in-house. While we want to serve everyone, Relay is not a story about one app.
Relay is a platform that serves thousands of developers across wallets, payments, RWAs, prediction markets, perps, and trading, all built on the same belief: people shouldn’t have to think about which chain they’re on.
Users want one balance, instant execution, and zero friction. We’re making that the baseline for every onchain app, not just one.
On performance, Relay offers best-in-class latency, reliability and fill rates, across 100x the scale (txs), larger orders, more routes and use cases. The data is public (dune.com/relay/fomo-pump-fun…).
Two apps on Relay can see wildly different performance depending on how they’ve integrated. We’ve shipped a lot lately, so reach out and make sure you have access to all the latest and greatest.
Back to building. 🫡
maybe not, i feel there'll always be exploits until we witness a complete overhaul of the current tech ecosystem at the hardware level, from silicon transistor chips to quantum processing units

Some stats on #php2shell. In the 10 hours before it was publicly announced, across the @Cloudflare network we saw thousands of attempts to exploit it. That jumped to tens of thousands in the 45 minutes post announcement, hundreds of thousands within 2 hours, and millions now.

my take is that if ai gets good enough to find vulnerabilities, it also gets good enough to defend against them
everyone focuses on the attacker side but imagine every protocol being audited continuously instead of once before launch
new code gets reviewed instantly
weird behavior gets flagged immediately
patches get proposed before humans even fully understand the issue
real change will simply be that security becomes continuous

What's happening in cybersecurity is a COVID-like wave ripping through the Internet. Honestly surprised it took this long, but seems like it's here now.
Crypto already saw this.
Onchain hacks are a canary for what will happen in the rest of web security, because onchain is the first and easiest place to monetize cyberattacks. Crypto protocols have already hardened themselves against this (small protocols are mostly getting popped; large protocols are using AI tools to protect themselves). This means that while the NUMBER of hacks has gone vertical, the run rate of $$s hacked is actually roughly equal to 2025. Meaning the dollar value of hacks has gone down, while the number has gone up—a mass looting of small, poorly maintained protocols.
I expect the same thing to be happening in the general web.

This is craazy. I asked one of our PhD engineers to look into NEAR *Confidential* Intents wondering how they designed their system. Unredacted, word-for-word, this was his answer 😱😱😱
"Everything I found out about the privacy claims and confidential intents is so bad that it seems almost comical and I cannot believe what I am seeing. Apparently they run a completely separate instance of the protocol, which is called FAR (as an opposite to NEAR), and that has a permissioned operator set. The entire confidentiality claim seems to rest upon the fact that it is a permissioned chain and the nodes are trusted to keep things private, there doesn't seem to be any deep technology behind it and it also does not seem to be open source. The entities running the nodes are also not publicly known.
I almost feel weird writing this because it is so absurdly bad that it feels like ... I don't know ... a simulation? I know the usual level of overpromising in Web3 but this is so many levels beyond believable that it still feels unreal."

I know a guy who was a delivery driver for years in a lot of debt who did this all publicly
Literally from the dirt and brought a lot of people with him
We all know him….. lol
the crypto space needs to highlight more stories from people who have gone from $0 to making enough money to quit their job and take care of their families
I dont understand why every single success story is about buying a super car, an expensive watch, and taking private flights
the entire point of all of this is to buy freedom for you and your loved ones, and many of the people buying expensive shit can’t afford it and are doing it just to flex on the internet
yet those are the people who get glazed the hardest
give me more feel good stories of someone who retired their parents, quit a 9-5 and never has to work again, or bought a modest house in cash
that’s what we really need more of

Compiled a list of protocols that have shut down in 2026.
82 protocols year-to-date.
I've never seen anything like this before.
