Huge (!) 2022 update to my 2016 Survey of Alternative Displays is currently live.
I (maybe) doubled the original content - covering over 30 types of "displays", made it easier to navigate, etc.
Please share around! blair-neal.gitbook.io/survey…
I made a fake/dystopian sci-fi experiential agency site, processing over a decade of working in real ones. Case studies are fictional, but feel too real at the same time. palatable.work

Thanks @zachlieberman ! I just ran out of cards but I’ll collect new orders and see if I can fulfill in a few weeks!
I’m excited to give an (online) talk at Futurespaces on Thursday - I’m going to cover the complexity of creative tech and also talk about info sharing and ways I think companies can find new ways to give back to the community - RSVP here! lu.ma/fs-blair-neal
Announcing that pre-orders are open for Post Mortem, my satirical AI generated tarot deck for experiential design and corporate agency work! You can go to the URL postmortemtarot.store to order from this one time run #tarot #tarotcards #creativetech

In honor of today being sometimes ambiguous for whether it is a day off, I think they should just ultimately call it Schrödinger's Cat Day where you determine if you get the day off by observing it
Experimenting with photochromic pigment in an acrylic base painted on paper. Then hitting it with a near UV laser pointer and LED
Highlight from my visit to some amazing museum archives yesterday. 8 track controlled mannequin with Ana amazing switchboard array.
As someone working in tech, I can only hope my solutions today look as quaint and outdated in 50 years.
