#BREAKING: LA Supervisor @HollyJMitchell has written a motion directing the LA County Sheriff's Dept to identify deputy gangs within its ranks.
If passed, the names of the gangs could be made public as soon as next year.

LA Sheriff’s Dept Cpt Ben Torres sued LACo saying he didn’t get promoted due to his tattoo ID'ing him a member of the Regulators, a gang of deputies. His case was dismissed after LACo said it already has other people with deputy gang tattoos in leadership

BREAKING: A 14 year old witness to the disappearance of Francisco Nunez, who I interviewed in May, has been shot by @LASDHQ deputies.
Nunez was last seen alive in LASD custody. His body was discovered 5 days later, feet from where he was seen last.
