is it that time of year again?

if I can take my dogs with me, I can handle it no problem. I would actually miss my wife though.

my students used to tell me that if an attack happened they were heading to my room, no matter what. They had faith in me to protect them. I don’t know why I earned that privilege, but I was OK with it.

Chevy Citation.

so we are supposed to believe that Z somehow forced Putin to send his troops into a neighboring country? despite no attacks on Russia…at all.

they can in theory…although contaminated water leads to corrosion problems an repair costs. water loss can be mitigated and controlled but it costs more $$$;, which is why data centers would prefer not to conserve.

my son lived with us for a while while job hunting during COVID. His name and mine both start with M. When he moved, the PO could not handle the forwarding requests….I got his mail, he got mine…it was all hit or miss. I went in 3 times to discuss with postmaster…no change.

it’s not a bad drive, but it is not enjoyable or serene. With gas prices, I would fly.

unless he creates a new stock category, at a much lower value, that would be a 10.5 billion investment….to receive nothing in return. I’m calling BS.

of course not. if it was available, there are plenty of people who would develop and market it and make a ton of money.

my son totaled a Subaru. insurance gave him $7900. He found a newer vehicle, lower miles, same model for $6500. Sometimes it works out, other times not so much.

IDK that capitalism is fully to blame….venture capitalism, however…

All modern educational theory, best practices, etc…. are based on a premise that students are active, willing participants in learning the material..and have a desire to learn. facts are, they are not willing and often actively obstruct the process. #teacherlife

the problem isn’t getting an opinion…it’s getting them to read the text to begin with. (let alone comprehend it).

Grades get changed by Admin….it’s a fact of modern education. I had a colleague who was forced to regrade an entire year…so a kid would pass. no guideance, he was just told ‘recalculate the grades so he passes.’.

As a teacher I had no problem with Admin changing a grade…as long as it was documented as their decision, not mine.

Russia and China want to carve up and take over Ukraine. They are manipulating Trumpty into supporting their cause. We are becoming our enemies.

it’s called the human form….

he’s a pro footballer….he’s got this.
