To my conservative evangelical brothers: I can’t express to you how much it means when you acknowledge the abuse in our ranks. I can’t express to you how much silence contributes to growing fear and distrust. Please lead well on these matters. So very much is at stake.

This week's controversies over Republican Madison Cawthorn and Democrat Raphael Warnock are instructive glimpses into how faith is weaponized

We are deeply heartbroken to inform the public that new allegations of abuse have indeed come to us, but we are committed to our promise to address them with the severity they deserve.

Praying for the two officers who were shot in Los Angeles. Praying that there is a revolution of values in this nation that delivers us from believing we have to diminish some lives in order to honor others.

Younger generations are suspicious of biblical ethics. Older generations, of biblical justice. Jesus says you must have both if you are going to follow him. Word AND Deed. Grace AND Truth. Love AND Law. Ethics AND Justice. "You must repent" AND "Remember the poor.

The night before he was assassinated. Many quote a man today that they would have hated then. The authentic, comprehensive King makes power uneasy and privilege unhinged. Never forget: He’s not here to hear people quote him because he was murdered.

If Christians would simply listen to the cries of their own brothers and sisters in Christ, the Church would be ahead of the national conversation about racial justice instead of behind it.

George Floyd. Not another name, not another statistic, not a news story. He is a man made in the image of God. Church rise up, silence is not an option. God has commissioned us to represent him in the face of injustice. Speak out. Lord please intervene. Lord help us!

Christians: The crisis is not that you are politically homeless. The crisis is that we ever thought we could make a home in politics at all.
