Going to add to this:
⚠️ DO NOT USE COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL IN STREAM BANNER OF PFP
In general we are seeing the first looks of how folks coming to IRIAM are acting and it’s what was expected, but please my fellow IRIAM FS and EAS, don’t promote the rule breaking or otherwise it doesn’t help no matter how much you might like the person streaming.

You lost the argument because the facts disagree with you.
That is why you respond with insults.

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Western anime audiences grew largely from unauthorized VHS tape trading and fansubs in the late 1970s–80s. Official releases were scarce and often heavily edited. Fan clubs (e.g. C/FO) and early fansubbers (~1989) built the demand that later supported commercial licensing.

At first it frustrated me, but the more i see this Japan vs Piracy discourse, the more i grow genuinely concerned for the japanese.
Is that what you guys do when something gets hard? You give up? Do you guys ever strive for anything? Do you have any dreams or goals? Are you ok?

IRIAM US PSA Post! #IRIAMUS
Since apparently most of new streamers forgot IRIAM TOS existed, I'll explain it in the most "simplest" way:
-Using Gen AI to make a PNG model IS BAD, stop using it to be lazy.
-Using a copyrighted character IS BAD!
-Sleep streams is a no-no.
-Streaming while driving is a BIG NO-NO, EYES ON THE ROAD!!!
-No minors allowed on IRIAM AT ALL, there's other platforms for entertainment.
Block & Report buttons are your best friend, utilize it!
Anywho, hope you all have a wonderful day!! :D

Today is the first day of IRIAM US going public.
To those of you who are new to #IRIAM whether as a viewer or as a streamer, I would highly recommend looking over IRIAM’s Rules and Guidelines. Being part of the platform means you will need to follow them.

This might be the single best tweet summarizing the current hostility some Japanese gamers have towards Westerners, all because Western fans created a mod for Tekken 6 (2007) that lets people play it online on PC for the first time.
