Charter schools and private schools aren’t required to admit every child. They aren’t required to have a SpEd program or make accommodations. Public schools are required to accept every child and meet their needs…defunding public schools threatens the most vulnerable kids.

We used to “correct” kids who were left-handed - through violence, shame or “guidance” on how to be right handed. And so there seemed to be very few left handers. Then we stopped, & with no shaming there was a seemingly rapid rise. Then a plateau. This is a tweet about trans kids

Starbucks is raising prices after reporting a 31% increase in profits. The company’s revenue increased by almost 20% to over $8,000,000,000. Their CEO’s pay increased by almost 40% last year to more than $20,000,000. Do not be fooled. This is about corporate greed. It always is.

We are heartbroken to hear about the passing of Cheslie Kryst, Miss USA 2019. Cheslie was an incredible example and a role model for so many. We send our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and all those who knew her.
Tonight will be remembered in history as the night that Joe Manchin, Kyrsten Sinema, and Senate Republicans chose the racist legacy of Jim Crow over delivering voting rights.
