She was too weak to stand, her muscles wasted away, and her pressure sores were infected. EBONY HOYTE‑GRIFFITHS, Despite emergency treatment, she deteriorated overnight and was euthanised the next day. Hoyte‑Griffiths denied wrongdoing and offered no explanation for Skylar’s prolonged suffering. She claimed Skylar had been eating normally until the previous night — a claim completely contradicted by veterinary evidence showing three to six months of neglect.
