Much love to the Bristol faithful and all of the Bristol team for a memorable season. They go pretty quick now. Not sure why the perception time speeds up as you age. Cherished the good and even the bad at times. Feeling things keenly is always poignant despite the emotions they invoke. And with a group of like minded comrades all the more powerful. Regard this group of players dearly. Way too much 😂. As ever learnt a heap despite my experience. Always insightful and a humbling field is the sport of pro rugby. Departing lads as always will be missed. Spent a considerable amount of time with big Yann and Caulfield (sadly). Yann for his huge heart and stirring rants. Josh Caulfield for his unhinged sense of humour and general feral degeneracy. Heart went out to Max who had massive influence off the field on all of us despite his freakish injury, passionate outbursts in meetings was awesome to behold. Will miss Siva for his inane tourretes and geniality, not his granite physiology in training though. Diego the man, was lovely to watch him come into his own both as a bloke and an athlete this year and will do great things at Ealing. Disappointing we couldn’t get it done in the end. Credit to Bath. Bastards 😂. Weird home form and mental away games. Marcel Michelin was a highlight. and visiting all the English rugby bastions as always was a worthy adventure despite how it concluded and is always an honour. See ya next season, with eyes bright and tail bushy. In the great words of the T800 I’ll be back.

Ugo vs Courtney. Cracking dialogue and barely repressed passion.
