No shade… Not if she doesn’t drop a proper visual with it. THAT’S the problem. “Outside” should’ve had a real music video. Instead, she gave us visuals for songs that weren’t really hit-worthy like “Safe”(a hit in my house, mind you) and “Imaginary Playerz.” Then we got “AH HA,” which already is a completely different era. I’m still highly disappointed we didn’t get more visuals from AITD?. Like is she cool? 😆 She’s not going to keep creating those huge, memorable moments if she stops pairing the music with iconic videos. That’s a major part of what made Beyoncé’s catalog feel so massive over time: the visuals helped paint the music and gave people an image to remember with the song. Cardi needs to get back to that. ASAP!
