I've had a CTO take my writing and instruct a model 'improve the SEO'. That was the instruction.
It changed the tone of the article considerably. I was peeved enough to ask for my name to be removed if that got published.
Yeaaaaahhh I might be noping out of DevRel at some point. I was lucky I got hired for my natural voice but some companies don't want that
also others are pushing the AI thing so hard it also affects how much effort it takes to just be normal
it's like they took a lot of nice things without understanding what made it nice and chucked it into a cauldron and stirred
no amount of incantation is gonna save that process
imo it's less about getting one's shit together and more about growth and a sense of self. Sometimes idk wtf I'm doing, but I know who tf I am, and that's what makes the difference.
It's never been easier to understand WHICH other people are my vibe. Friends included.
on top of that I prefer for config to get out of my way 💀
with the way I prompted I just never needed them. but have been encouraged to add them to my repos after I switched to claude
