That was 46 years ago. →The GDP of Australia then was around $160 billion USD. →The GDP of Australia is now roughly $2.1 TRILLION USD. →That is roughly 15 (FOURTEEN) times the size. If the point we're making has gone over your head, let's try this as an explanation. You open a coffee shop. In the first year, you average 100 cups of coffee per day. You have two staff. Busy little underpaid fuckers, aren't they? Then, unlike the majority of coffee shop owners, you manage to grow the business because it's actually run properly, and you turn it into a franchise. Fucking whoop whoop for you! You even had T-shirts printed. Now, you've got 14 coffee shops (that's a reference to 14 times the size of the GDP).
