One thing about AES is that his (centrist) candidacy has gotten many Democrats openly admitting they’re just nasty racist bigots - appropriate for the party that oversaw, funded and supported the genocide of the Palestinians.
For me, the only dignified choice is to leave the Senate race blank—an undervote representing a rejection of ideological absolutism. This makes me no less a Democrat. I refuse to be complicit in excusing or accepting extremism to beat extremism. The madness has to stop somewhere.

Mamdani and Abdul have exposed a level of racism and bigotry within the Democratic Party that I never thought I would see. You have people who claim to be Democrats joining MAGA in spreading racist attacks against Abdul. Sometimes, you can barely tell the difference between their tweets. It’s truly sickening.

Where on earth are you getting this from?
Do you know that after the Israeli expulsion of Palestinians in 1948, all those who remained were put under martial law in Israel until 1966? They could not leave their villages and towns without a travel pass. Thousands were imprisoned in labor camps.
You write as if you have never been there or seen it with your own eyes.
You say you "think" that I am just lying. Please look at yourself. That is a classic psychological defense mechanism to avoid having to re-evaluate tightly held beliefs. I am not lying about anything. My history in Israel goes back to 1971. I studied in university there. I studied in yeshivas there. I speak, read and write Hebrew. Why would I lie? Please look at where your beliefs come from. What makes you believe them?

I think you are just lying.
You know that in the aftermath of the 1948 war, there was approx 200,000 Arabs in Israel proper. They were offered full citizenship, most accepted. Today they and their descendants number 2 million.
That is not what a people being ethnically cleansed experience.
In the entire Middle East, only the Arabs in Israel proper have all of their religious and civil rights protected by law.
That is not what a people being ethnically cleansed experience.
The Arabs in Israel go about their daily lives, shop at Israeli malls, use Israeli services, frequent Israeli restaurants and bars, send their children to study at the many universities, and receive Israeli social and health benefits.
That is not what a people being ethnically cleansed experience.
You know that Israeli Arabs are the most educated Arabs in the world, with the best living standards and opportunities in the region.
Arabs serve as judges in the Israeli Supreme Court;
Some of the best doctors in Israel are Arabs, working in almost every hospital in the country;
They vote in open and free elections. They can run for office in these elections.
That is not what a people being ethnically cleansed experience.
In fact there are 10 Arab members of parliament who enjoy the right to criticize the government – a right that they exhaust to the fullest – protected by the freedom of speech;
That is not what a people being ethnically cleansed experience.
They routinely SHOOT CHILDREN.
My god, what will it take for anyone to stop this??

theres this idea in the media that if netanyahu loses his election that israel is going to become acceptable to support again, as he is singularly the problem. but if you look into the election you find out every single opposition party is casting him as "too weak on palestine"

This dude went from a literal socialist in 2016 to a Republican in 2026 over one issue. Guess which.
I admire Democrats making this choice.
I’m supporting Rogers because he is not an extremist. As a father, public safety matters to me. I don’t trust Abdul El-Sayed, but I trust Mike Rogers on the issues that matter most.
Mike Rogers has shown he’s willing and ready to work with local Democrats on achievable bread-and-butter issues to improve life for Michiganders. I respect that.

Why does the Greens' "Zionism is racism" policy provoke such fear from the UK's political and media class?
Because it collapses their key script – by emphasising that the struggle to end Palestinian oppression is against a racist political movement, Zionism, not against Jews.
The political and media class are so desperate to keep advancing this script that they're now forced to defame the UK's only Jewish party leader as an antisemite to make it make sense.
It doesn't make sense – can never make sense – because it's a lie.

If I were on the board of the Nigerian Railway Corporation, I would have serious questions for the MD after that statement.
People are complaining that they cannot buy train tickets online but can allegedly find those same tickets in the parallel market at inflated prices.
His response?
"We have 665 seats and 10,000 people are struggling to get them. The first 665 will get the seats within minutes, and the system will simply tell that there is no seat.
You can't create what you don't have."
Of course, you cannot create seats out of thin air. Nobody expects you to.
But surely, the MD of a national railway corporation should understand the difference between a capacity problem and a distribution problem.
If demand exceeds supply, that is a commercial opportunity. It should trigger a business case for additional coaches, more frequent services where feasible, and better utilisation of existing capacity.
If tickets are genuinely being diverted to racketeers, that is a control failure. It calls for transaction audits, investigations and accountability.
And if the official ticketing platform is working as intended, the MD should be able to demonstrate that with data.
Instead, we get an explanation of why tickets sell out.
What about the money being left on the table? What about the customers being frustrated? What about the integrity of the ticketing system?
Imagine the CEO of a publicly traded company responding to evidence of possible revenue leakage by explaining that demand exceeds supply, without first addressing whether the distribution system is compromised.
Investors would demand answers. The board would demand evidence. Management would be expected to present a corrective plan.
The NRC may not be publicly traded, but it is a public institution. Nigerians deserve the same seriousness about operational efficiency, revenue protection and accountability.
And that claim that racketeering has fallen to less than 1%? Less than 1% of what? Total tickets sold? Confirmed cases? Complaints received? How was it measured?
A percentage without a clear methodology is just a number.
The question is not whether the NRC can create seats it doesn't have. The question is whether it is properly managing the seats it does have, and capturing the revenue those seats should generate.
If the MD cannot answer that question convincingly, his board should be asking whether he is the right person to lead the corporation.
When you have 665 seats and 10,000 persons are struggling to get it. The first 665 passengers will get the seats within minutes and the system will simply tell that there is no seat.
You can't create what you don't have.
Under this administration, ticket racketeering reduced to less than 1percent because of the measures we put in place.

Video of masked Israeli settlers striking European diplomats and elected officials near Taybeh, a Christian village in Palestine. The 78-year-old French mayor Bernard Baudoux was thrown to the ground and beaten with iron bars.
Make no mistake: If the Israeli government wanted to put an end to this, they could within minutes. They don't.
Just like Biden pretended that he wanted a ceasefire, but in reality worked tirelessly to enable Israel's genocide.
They are playing the same trick on us again.

Hart, I was a Zionist for nearly all my life. I actually went to live in Israel and was there for some years. So, you don't need to instruct me about that.
Seeing the reality that, in order to exist, Israel requires the oppression, dispossession and expulsion of Palestinians took me decades. Now that I see it, I can't unsee it.
Replying to @RabbiMivasair
You could not understand his answer because you don't know what the word Zionist means.
Unless or until you have a common understanding of what it means to be a Zionist, you can ne Er understand the why.
