The usefulness of Amazon’s 6-page memo has been nuked by AI-generated text (employees sit in meetings suspecting text is AI and tune out).
Suspicious memos tagged as AI;DR (AI, didn’t read).

ChatGPT badly needs a cowork mode, like in Google Docs, where two or more people can collaborate within the same session.
Agent vs. agent inside apps like Instinct totally sucks, and is unusable even with friends/partners.
Surprising this hasn't been built yet.

.@every asked me to predict what work will look like after AI automates so much of it.
People are worried about our brains turning to mush with AI use. imo this is real, and particularly relevant as a parent of a young child, but there's a beautiful opportunity to use our own work together with AI using our own work as context, to become even sharper than before.

If you trim down your prompts, you’re making it worse.
At best, you repeat yourself, you re-describe ideas in several ways, you go on tangents, and you explore way beyond the initial scope. More context means more clarity, at least for the LLM.

And as is consistently the case, the best launch videos are now authentic rough screencasts from the founder talking and occasionally stumbling through their product.
In so many areas we've swapped proof-of-work for proof-of-authenticity (and I think that's a good thing) – at Dublin City, Ireland

Today, we’re releasing a feature that allows Claude to control your computer: Mouse, keyboard, and screen, giving it the ability to use any app.
I believe this is especially useful if used with Dispatch, which allows you to remotely control Claude on your computer while you’re away.

it will be incredible easy to be successful beyond your wildest imagination over the next few decades if you just manage to not go insane. the issue is all of society is orientating around driving you into total insanity, and selling your soul to an increasingly cosmic set of sin

These days part of the reason people are so burned out and tired and overwhelmed is that trust got eviscerated.
People don’t trust what they see , they don’t trust the news, they don’t trust government , they don’t trust reviews , they don’t trust emails. Etc etc
These days it dawned on me the last 5 things I bought online were all semi scams
I get scams via email and text all day, I get invited to crypto trading calls as direct calendar invites.
Every time I ask ChatGPT what’s the matter with my dog , it gives bullshit advice to go to the vet asap. Every time I ask it advice for a plant , it’s wrong
To be alive today is to accept that almost everything accidentally seems like a lie and 25% of your brain all day long is trying to verify the truth. First it was the internet , then it was the incentives and now it’s AI making the whole world feel questionable

It’s super obvious agentic commerce isn’t going to happen.
There’s this but also Imagine the return rates. The credit card charge backs . The customer service calls.
Until we rebuild the web for bots it’s not going to happen. And we won’t do that
NEW: Amazon sent a cease and desist to Perplexity demanding it stop letting allowing its AI browser agent, Comet, to make purchases online for users.
Perplexity is pushing back, accusing Amazon of bullying a smaller competitor and limiting user choice.
