The financial difference in the Newport News Mayoral race is staggering. Clearly incumbency in a local election remains strong despite national winds.
She deserves re-election. But the anchor that is @realDonaldTrump will prove too much.
ALL EYES ARE ON VA-02! 🇺🇸 The whole country knows our district could help determine the direction of our nation. Speaker @MikeJohnson knows it, and so should every voter. We need you to get out and vote to keep this seat and our conservative majority! LET’S GET IT DONE...! 🗳️

Proud to stand with the people of the nation of Israel in remembrance of the horrific terrorist attacks by Hamas 3 years ago today.

A series of open miracles on the flydubai flight that very nearly went down with a plane full of passengers.
Miracle 1: A plane full of people survived an attempt by the copilot to crash their aircraft. Passengers and crew broke into the cockpit and subdued the attacker after he stabbed the captain.
Miracle 2: Two off-duty flydubai pilots happened to be on board. They took control of the plunging aircraft and landed it safely.
Miracle 3: The plane plummeted and spun out of control - spiraling some 17,000 feet. It ultimately touched down with a chunk of its rudder missing.
Miracle 4: They landed in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia has no diplomatic relations with Israel. Yet when an aircraft carrying Israelis was in mortal danger, Saudi Arabia became their refuge. Saudi authorities received them, kept them safe, and got them onto a replacement aircraft that flew them directly from Saudi soil to Tel Aviv.
For all the reasons to despair about the Middle East, don't miss what happened today.

Not kidding when I say this is Appalachia’s version of the death of Queen Elizabeth.
The flag of the Old Dominion tips its hat to the woman born in a one room cabin with no running water in a Pigeon Forge holler of TN whose talent and kindness changed the world. Rest easy @DollyParton . We will always love you.

RIP Dolly Parton. Can now join Kenny Rogers. This is still one of my favorite live performances ever. Back when singing was singing.
Heaven is now rhinestone covered. A phenomenal talent who never forgot her roots and shared her amazing spirit with the world.

Great Congressman, but this campaign will be the fight of his life. As a candidate who has cruised to reelection time and again may have lulled him into lethargy. The fake 90 sec phone call to avoid press won’t cut it in Nov.
I’ve seen the live feed. Whether real or faked for clicks both lead to a psychosis to unstable to be amongst functioning society.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office confirmed it received multiple calls about an individual livestreaming acts of self-harm. Deputies responded to Perez Hilton’s home and spoke with family members at the scene. After confirming he was alone inside, authorities tactically disengaged and continued monitoring the situation.
"In many incidents involving a person experiencing a mental health crisis or actively harming themselves, deputies prioritize de-escalation by creating time, distance, and opportunities for communication. Unless there is an immediate threat to others, slowing the situation and utilizing crisis intervention techniques can reduce the likelihood of a suicide-by-cop encounter and minimize the risk of injury to the individual, deputies, and the public," the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office told Newsweek
Miller should resign immediately. He should further withdraw his name from any primary/general election ballot. Further, he and his law firm should be investigated by federal authorities for their Dropbox disclosures which are inexcusable.
“Mr. Miller had booked himself on Jake Tapper’s CNN program, where he… [claimed] he was inspired to stay in the race by Mr. Trump’s own defiance after leaked audio surfaced of him boasting about groping women during his 2016 campaign.”

What passes for “balance” on a broadcast TV network Sunday show roundtable: 2 anti-Trump Democrats matched with 2 anti-Trump Republicans, moderated by a former senior Democratic Party operative/Clinton administration official.
