Hey @btaylor, just thought you should know that Air Quality Reader hasn’t updated its data in about a year - would be great to fix or take it down. It doesn’t look out of date unless you tap on a reading, and I’ve had some confused emails from Paku users about it not matching!
If any mutuals on the east coast want a free Paku Pro unlock (my PurpleAir app), send me a DM. Stay safe!

I don’t like to post here much, but I know a lot of iOS folks are still here and I think this is quite useful, so - introducing decant: I had claude reverse engineer the compiled Icon Composer format so you can extract .icon files for all of Apple’s apps github.com/kylebshr/decant

Is there anything more annoying than a full screen view/modal that slides up but you can't dismiss immediately by swiping back down because of an inner scrollview bounce at the top that does absolutely nothing? I don't think so.
SF!!! we’re officially on PB&J duty today 🥜
we’ll be hand-delivering artisanal coconut peanut butter & mango passionfruit jam sandwiches on milk bread (co-created with breadbelly) across the city to celebrate personal banking.
follow along… and we might drop a surprise location if you’re nearby 👀

Really enjoyed building this with @mattwrightmatt and the security team!
I helped build Mercury Personal and have technically been using it longer than anyone (hackathon perks 😄) - I genuinely love it. The waitlist is finally ending today, and if you want to try it out, you can get $120 when you sign up with my link! mercury.com/share/kb

A wild thing about Google Ads: hackers can run an ad showing your domain, but it actually leads to a phishing site. @Mercury got hit by this 3 years ago—but within a week, we launched a device verification system to stop it. I wrote up the story for our eng blog (link below)
If you use @mercury on iOS, we’d love your help testing out some big changes coming soon. Join our beta on TestFlight: testflight.apple.com/join/x4…

Is there anyone know why the app icon on the App Store displays as the dark mode one??? So weird.
Pretty fast⚡️. I’ve just released the @MusicMateApp_ which has adapted to the iOS 18 feature. But I can’t mention it in the description 🤫

Anyone knows what’s going on with dark mode icons on the App Store?
Some apps seem to have their transparent dark mode template exposed as app icon and we can’t figure out why.
(one sec is affected as well, but luckily I didn’t read the specs and included the background – so not as bad)

Anyone else having issues that the App Store shows the wrong version of the App Icon after the #iOS18 update?
For Study Snacks, the tinted icon is now shown in the App Store and on App Store Connect instead of the light one. The light icon is included, is visible under iOS 18 in light mode and is also shown in App Store Connect under the include assets.
