In his interview with Menโs Folio, BamBam opens up about the special bond he shares with his GOT7 members, who have been by his side since his trainee days.
โItโs so weird because no matter how much experience I gained, I feel like I a little kid again when Iโm with them. Iโve been with them since my trainee days, when I was 13, until now at 29.
Weโve been through thick and thin, the bad days, good days and all. We donโt need to fake smiles with each other or act mature, because weโve pretty much shown every side of ourselves to each other. I can be myself.โ

yugbam were actually way ahead of their time just having fun n all ๐ญ
BamBam reflects on how much the music industry has changed over the years, admitting that heโs still trying to keep up with how fast everything moves. โOh, this makes me feel so old. Shitโ he laughs.
โBack then, we didnโt have TikTok. We didnโt do challenges and stuff. It was just about making good music, performing on music shows, touring, doing content on radio stations, YouTubeโฆ and that was it.โ

.
I donโt need a middle person or a filter standing between me and my fans.
Because from day one, it has always been about me and my fans.
I want to make sure my fans know as much as possible about who I am and what I am as a human being.
There shouldnโt be guessing.
There shouldnโt be assumptions.
Again,
I also believe this should apply to every artist and their fans.
That should be the closest connection.
They should know each other the best.
The strengths and the weaknesses.
The good and the bad.
Truth matters more than imagination.
Thatโs why Iโm grateful to have you all.
I wouldnโt be able to create any of this without the opportunities and blessings you guys have given me.
This one is for you all.
The unpolished and true me.
Thank you for letting me be me.
