Canadians should be proud of our U23 Women and Men at the World Championships today. So many personal bests and amazing rides within the race. Sean Fincham lead the charge: 14th place & best result in Europe. Last year he was 33rd! Big progression! Well done all! @CyclingCanada

Coaches should avoid the phrase “my athletes” when speaking about the people they coach. The phrase “the athletes I work with” is better. It empowers athletes. It recognizes their agency in the process. Demonstrates coach’s approach is athlete centered.
