Thank you to our Taree HS students for working with staff in the school’s kitchens to make curried sausages, pasta bakes & Anzac biscuits. Students then helped deliver the meals & baked goods to flood impacted community members. Your efforts are greatly appreciated – thank you!

Boggabilla Central School Stage 1 students have dived into some action-packed literacy sessions! Students read Two Mates then wrote about their own special friendships, before creating some crafty wet season frogs. We’re so proud of our curious learners & their joyful energy!

Great to be back in the swing of things, supporting schools and doing what I love! ✨ A standout moment from the start of this year was working with Nowra East Public School, where my co-author Dr Cathie Burgess and I facilitated a full day of professional learning on Aboriginal pedagogies and curriculum. 📖 Together, we empowered staff to understand Aboriginal histories and cultures and, importantly, teach with passion and purpose. 💡 A highlight was reconnecting with and being inspired by AEO, Aunty Ruth Sims. With an incredible 48 years in education and approaching her 84th birthday, Aunty Ruth continues to work full-time, making a lasting impact on so many. Her dedication to Aboriginal Education is truly inspiring. 🌟 Sincere gratitude to the entire Nowra East staff, and a special shout-out to Ruth and Andrew for leading this important work. ❤️ Wishing all our teacher colleagues an incredible year ahead! ✨📚🎉 #aboriginaleducation #teachersmakingadifference #professionallearning #aboriginalpedagogy #educationmatters
