Every day I log into work and wait for an email that says “you are in BIG trouble and we all hate you”
#kohlanta faut arreter de dire que les gens qui se sont faits éliminés au début et sont revenus grâce à l’île des bannis sont de "bons stratèges"
elle est tellement bonne en stratégie que tous les jaunes l’avaient virée à cause de ça

Name: Sakusa Kiyoomi
Crimes: being too moe, face too fleek, hair too flawless, arson, body too tea, improper handling of nuclear bomb, obnoxious wardrobe
"Probably true"
You’re a piece of shit, but that’s also beside the point
RIP to this poor woman who was "probably" brilliant and deserved to live and become a fully deserving pilot
Replying to @timtheaton
To the objections:
"You would react the same way!" -- Whether I would or not is irrelevant. Pilots should not.
"She has a right to be scared." -- Of course she does. It's a terrifying situation. That's also beside the point.
"She wasn't the pilot. She was the co-pilot." --My point is equally true for both the PF and the PM.
"Men do the same thing!" -- My comment did not mention sex and applies to everyone.
"Your comment does mention sex! You said, 'scream like a little girl.'" -- Both sexes are capable of screaming like a little girl. If you are one of those, don't choose a job where others' lives hang on your composure.
"Nothing she did would have changed the result." --- Probably true. That is also beside the point.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
In fatal crashes, pilots have often screamed or expressed panic on CVRs due to the uncontrollable startle response in extreme stress, which FAA training acknowledges cannot always be suppressed despite preparation.

r.e. the google drive fic discourse: not everything is about legality or ethical positions. sometimes it’s just about respect and manners in a community space
i get that ao3 and reading fanfics is a big deal like ik i’m gonna get withdrawals bc it’s become so much of a routine but y’all can’t be serious that u can’t wait a month to reread ur favorite works and actually prefer reading it from a platform that the author hasn’t approved
why are we still arguing literally AO3 is telling you you’re not allowed to repost the works without the author’s consent
debate’s over

We estimate that service restoration for #AO3 will take around 2 weeks but it could be up to 4 weeks. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring the site back up in a degraded state sooner. Refer to our status page for updates: otwstatus.org/
