▪️Supreme Court of India had constituted a High Powered Enquiry Committee (HPEC) to enquire into all aspects of the incidents relating to violence at Jantar Mantar, Delhi, and at places outside Delhi, during the month of July 2026
▪️For the convenience of the affected people, including the affected police personnel, the HPEC has launched a portal hpec.nic.in
▪️HPEC shall examine all issues enumerated in paragraphs 12 and 13 of the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s Order dated 18 August 2026 and paragraph 5(i) of order dated 10 September, 2026
▪️Priority will be given to matters pertaining to the use of pellet guns, targeted violence and harassment of female protestors, and excessive violence and destruction of property occasioned on either side
▪️Portal is designed in such a manner as to enable due protection to vulnerable witnesses and also to keep the identities confidential and undisclosed, if so wished by the affected persons

This is the regular practice with all Jogbani, Purnea, Katihar bound Kolkata Trains
I still don't understand why do they keep 2-2.5hrs extra buffer when the train do not need it.
They can easily go from Purnea to Kolkata in 8-9hrs Maximum but they take 11-12hrs as scheduled time.
This has been a norm with other Purnea bound Delhi (Purnea - ANVT) and Patna (Janhit) Trains as well
Please do not do that ngs just for sake of it, time is money, stop wasting customers time
