Just figured out where these fake tariff rates come from. They didn't actually calculate tariff rates + non-tariff barriers, as they say they did. Instead, for every country, they just took our trade deficit with that country and divided it by the country's exports to us. So we have a $17.9 billion trade deficit with Indonesia. Its exports to us are $28 billion. $17.9/$28 = 64%, which Trump claims is the tariff rate Indonesia charges us. What extraordinary nonsense this is.

By his own admission, Biden isn’t a great politician. He’s more of a policy guy/creature of the Senate, which helped him pass an impressive slate of legislation with slim majorities in his first 2 years But he had a tough time selling those accomplishments. Just not his strength

I think the main issue was a combo of an poor CFO, then that period in between the CFO leaving and CFO Teetor joining. That period needed strong financial leadership. I do think over time Teetor will get things under control. Whoever decided to withhold 15% should be praised

Today I sent a letter to President Trump urging his Administration to reexamine New York’s congestion pricing scheme. Congestion pricing is a disaster for New Jersey commuters and must receive the close look it deserves from the federal government.

There was a small army working on setting up the inauguration all week. I’m in the Capitol now looking out at the viewing area, some are just standing looking around, some inside sitting on the ground looking at their phones. Guessing they are finding all of this out from Twitter

4 years of living in Texas and I've come to the conclusion that the no state income tax thing is basically a scam. The property taxes are so high that they negate any savings. We are still paying as many taxes in Texas as we would in California. You save on gas I guess.
