[1103] #KimJaewon and Kim Goeun Rank 3rd in JoyNews24’s Best Drama Couple Survey for #YumisCells3 In celebration of its 22nd anniversary, JoyNews24 conducted a survey from October 15 to 21, asking about the dramas, variety shows, films, actors, and singers that made 2026 special. A total of 142 people working in the entertainment industry took part, including employees of entertainment agencies and broadcasting companies, film and TV content producers, and entertainment reporters. Kim Goeun x Kim Jaewon of Yumi’s Cells S3, the perfect endgame couple Kim Goeun and Kim Jaewon from the TVING original series Yumi’s Cells S3 received 22 votes, ranking third in the Best Drama Couple category. Playing Yumi and Soonrok, the two brought the series Yumi’s Cells to a spectacular close. Yumi’s Cells S3, which aired in April, tells the story of Yumi after she succeeds as a romance novelist. While Kim Goeun had become completely one with the character of Yumi throughout Seasons 1 and 2, Kim Jaewon created a different kind of charm with Soonrok, a homebody, compared to the previous seasons. He portrayed the character’s many sides in a layered way, from the calm Soonrok, whose true feelings are hard to read, to the bold Soonrok, who suddenly announces that he is going public with his relationship. In particular, the two’s older woman-younger man romance, which gradually develops from a relationship between coworkers who keep their professional and personal lives separate into one where they share their everyday lives, felt realistic and deeply resonated with viewers. m.joynews24.com/v/2020371
