I made through my first conference as a presenter and I was well received. My world is about to change.

I thought I could get through the holidays okay. I did not. I have to go away from here for awhile. I have to fully leave alot of things. I did a stupid thing in leaving myself out again. I don't know when I can come back. I am tired.

Happy new year everyone. I'm walking into 2026 with very little of what was my life. I stayed too long in a story that had ended. Being striped of so much left me with the one thing I wasn't taking care of, me. Never again.

I wanted to pop on and wish everyone Merry Christmas. This year is too different, too much unsettled for merry personally. I am ambivalent about today. I made sure I have to do's that will keep me busy.

I have to step away from hear for a while. I found myself starting to create a similar box I escaped. I have someone who's going to help me. I don't know when I will come back.

Listen, if you natural struggle with this time of year. There's nothing that says you're expression of the holidays has to match the people around you. It's not about them, you decide what to do. It took me decades to learn this and I'm still learning.

I've been presented with a moment in time today that even now I'm trying not overthink. A moment that will eclipse my own imagination. Being still in the belief that I should have it is a milestone that has comprised of a million steps.

I had coffee today with an important friend. I was imparted some truths I was overdue to hear. She made me face what I was refusing to. She did it with sharp but caring directness which ironically I welcomed. It's probably the best gift I'll get this year.
