V happy to support a motion & amendment at full council for SLC to expand use of other social media & reduce use of X, limiting it to urgent messages. Better to be on platforms that make the world a better place, so please do the same. Follow me

Can’t believe Chancellor is seriously considering slashing support for home energy efficiency as a way to cut fuel bills 👀Locking people into cold & leaky homes which will cost them more to heat & decimating insulation industry at same time. Total madness theguardian.com/uk-news/2025…

Zack Polanski is so good at this.
A wealth tax isn't a panacea but it's a start. You don't have to agree with all of the Green Party's policies but you can't deny they're about the only force for hope in UK politics right now.

Big congratulations @ZackPolanski - really gracious in victory & hugely ambitious for party. As he said in his acceptance speech, the Greens aren’t here to be disappointed by Labour - we’re here to replace them & to challenge power & wealth in this country. Join us!

What a great mind map from the P6 children @WoodheadPrimary, so many ways to take an active role in global citizenship! 🌍🌟
P6 loved yesterday’s first live session on Global Goals 1, 2 and 10. Here’s our mind map to demonstrate ways in which we can all take an active role in Global Citizenship. We are looking forward to Lesson 2 next week! @SLC_RAiSE

Do you want to work with, or sell to South Lanarkshire Council?
First thing you would need to know is what we buy and when the contract runs out
The easiest way to do this is via out contracts register, keep this bookmarked

Many homes were affected in the recent storms. As well as getting things sorted short term, we need to adapt our properties, roads and greenspaces for a future of more frequent, intense storms due to climate change. Today I asked how the housing service is dealing with it.
Hitting the Calderwood streets today with my new newsletter. In a housing emergency I've focussed on helping people with housing issues in this newsletter. Can you help push these through a few doors please? If so, please get in touch.
