Had a wonderful time at Stanford AI in Medical Imaging Centre @StanfordAIMI.
Thank you @curtlanglotz for having me as a part of your team, @cxbln for being an incredible research partner, and everyone there for being so welcoming.
Coming soon to a journal near you...
Submitted our work on deep learning in chest CT to @UKIOCongress. It was my first ever Radiology conference 7 years ago and I have always found it an excellent event.
Thanks @AndyJSwift and the academic team here as always for everything.
Wonderful research day event by @RCRadiologists moderated by @aaoplumb. Excellent selection of talks with many practical tips to improve radiology research & how to incorporate AI.
Here are some quick notes from the talks 📝 (short thread)
Zoom round table moderated by @tomturmezei & @imagingmedsci
- mini-motions debated with lots discussed!
- too much to summarise! Fantastic speakers all around.
- highly recommend you listen to the CRASH podcast episodes

Wintering is published in paperback today! Here's where it began: with skeins of pink-feet over Dumfries, flock of barnacles on the merse and mud of Caerlaverock, my winter of connected with Iceland and Svalbard.
“The BBC asked me to supply a quote for the press release,” said Brooker, “which is what you’re reading now.”

Absolutely. The same for sonographers and imaging support workers. Radiology, therefore arguably modern clinical medicine as a whole, cannot exist without them. @RCRadiologists
Replying to @lungdiagnosis
@RCRadiologists @RANZCRcollege @RSNA @CARadiologists Please retweet - it’s high time #radiographers are specifically recognised. Whilst the media rightly lauds bravery of doctors & nurses it cannot be allowed to continue that #radiographers barely get a mention #clapforXray 👏🏻

I’ve gotten pretty good at social distancing, what I need now is social media distancing.
Excellent statement and presentation of evidence from American College of Radiology on use of CT/CXR for #COVID19
Hoping for similar from RCR
In a time of rational, outcome-based thought being sacrificed for knee-jerk requests for imaging-that probably facilitates, not hinders, infection- brilliant logical statement from @RadiologyACR #COVID19 acr.org/Advocacy-and-Economi…
