Today when Missouri passed a law banning gender affirming care for trans youth, a gay Republican stood and kept his hand held up.
They refused to call on him.
They keep doing this in states around the country.
Let him speak.

Three Republicans sided with the Democrats in voting no, House Majority Leader Jon Patterson, Rep. Gary Bonacker and Rep. Chris Sander, an openly gay member. Sander held his hand up to speak on the bill, but was never called on. #moleg

Turns out, lawmakers across the United States have used the term “blood on your hands.”
None punished like Zooey has been.
Almost like there is something about her that is different and draws more hate….

LET HER SPEAK!

Video of Rep. Zephyr holding her microphone high as people yell "let her speak."
The House Speaker has not allowed Rep Zephyr to punch in on any bill for 5 days, disenfranchising an entire district.

The GOP is spending their energy working to erase trans, non-binary, and Two Spirit Montanas instead of focusing on the real crises facing working Montanans. @Howell4HD95, @ZoAndBehold, & all MT Democrats will always fight to make every Montanan’s voice heard at the Capitol Hill! – at Helena, MT

Hey everyone!
There is currently a petition drive to Speaker Regier to allow Representative Zooey Zephyr to speak and to stop disenfranchising 10,000 voters.
Please share far and wide and please sign.

Yesterday Montana's anti-drag law was partially defeated.
Today another bill (SB 544) has a proposed amendment banning drag & "acts of transgenderism" from youth on the internet.
This would bar trans resources, trans people, and more from online spaces if minors may be present.

Rep. Regier, refusing to let a Representative speak because you disagree with her is anti-democratic. Refusing to let her speak because you don’t like what she has to say (or stands for) is fascist.

The Republican Party of Montana just refused to recognize their first transgender member of the body while they voted to define transgender people entirely out of the code of Montana, including drivers licenses, birth certificates, and more.
The entire Democratic Party stood.
Please look and talk and write and shout about what is happening in Montana right now. Don't let this go unanswered.
