WHERE IS @harshdelhise? Over 48 hours & @DelhiPolice has still not disclosed his whereabouts. Delhi Police must immediately reveal where he is being held. We appeal to everyone to amplify this until his whereabouts are known!

#BREAKING: "Courts must intervene when constitutional rights are violated. Human Rights Commissions must investigate complaints, identify systemic failures and ensure that concerns which may otherwise remain invisible receive institutional attention," says CJI Surya Kant while addressing the NHRC Foundation Day event #SupremeCourt

it kills me that when my generation is out on the streets protesting I’m stuck inside four walls transforming data into actionable insights. one of my bigger failures as a citizen.

Aranya from @disha_du_ is still missing after 3 hours. She was last seen in the prison van, where she was brutally beaten up, and then she was isolated by the Delhi Police goons. Will @DelhiPolice tell us about her whereabouts?

they always bring up “values” when they’re in a hard place, and the law as a shield when it suits them otherwise. where are these values in the police when there are clear examples of immense brutality. I can’t believe I thought she was a feminist role model when I was younger.
An Appeal to All Spokespersons and Those in Public Discourse While we all have the right to protest, raise genuine grievances, and voice our demands, we also have a duty to remain respectful towards others, including our elders, even when we disagree with them. Respect is one of the first values we learn from our parents and teachers. Disagreement is natural in a democracy, but disrespect should never become the language of public discourse. The repeated airing of disrespectful remarks in the media is distasteful and disturbing. We must remember that younger generations are watching, listening, and learning from the way we conduct ourselves. Freedom of speech comes with the responsibility of restraint. We can be assertive without being abusive, critical without being contemptuous, and firm without losing our dignity. An appeal to all spokespersons: Please exercise restraint while expressing your views and asserting your right to free speech. Let us uphold the values of mutual respect, civility, and responsible public discourse. We may disagree in our opinions, but we must not lose respect for one another.

I am done with this shit. It is over. The state of engineering right now is horrible. It has been half a month since I started a new role at a big company. Nobody knows anything here. The specs, code, tests, PRDs, tickets, resolution of those tickets, reports, etc., everything is made by Claude Code. Nobody on my team likes this. They are being forced to ship as much as they can. I have heard multiple times from higher management that pushing code is not a bottleneck, so why are we slow? People are working 12 to 13 hours a day just to press enter. Nobody is reading anything. Humans in corporate are doing nothing on their own. Everyone, literally everyone, from an L1 to an L7 engineer here is doing the same thing. Talk to Claude. There is no sense of victory. Nobody is resolving bugs. In reality, nobody is thinking anymore. Everything is done by LLMs. It is so soul-sucking. I would not mind it, to be honest, if we were at least given the time to check out the code and see what is going where. But no, the goal is to just ship. No matter what happens.
