My colleagues at @TheWorldToday have done it again! This is an excellent and timely new issue, with a great section on AI. I found @TechMilly's article on decolonizing AI especially thought provoking

BREAKING 🚨 | A mother of three has been jailed for 28 months for illegally procuring abortion pills. She was charged under legislation dating back to 1861. Every woman should have the right to choose. Time for abortion law reform now.

This is happening here, not America, El Salvador or Poland. Here in the UK. Access to abortion should be a human right, not based on criminal statutes but for women in England, Scotland and wales it’s still not legal and cases like this show human tragic consequences. #NowforUK
Tomorrow, a woman in England will be sentenced for ending her own pregnancy. The maximum sentence she could receive is up to life imprisonment - the harshest penalty in the world. We need abortion law reform now. Report from @HannahAlOthman in today’s @thetimes

I asked ChatGPT to "tell me a story about a boy and a girl choosing their careers". The boy became a "successful doctor", the girl a "beloved teacher". So... same old same old. #biasinmotion 1/3
