I have a plan to lower costs for Missouri families WITHOUT raising taxes.
Fred Wellman laughed at the idea of keeping taxes low and refused to make that same promise.

I was honored to join the 5th annual Tom Shaw Foundation Freedom Walk in Defiance this morning. This event supports our police, firefighters, and first responders. There is no denying that St. Charles County backs the blue!

Our office led a coalition of 35 states in a letter to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee in support of the Crime Victims Stabilization Act, which would keep victim services open and accessible, especially in rural communities that have the fewest resources yet the greatest need.
We are proud to lead the fight against crime and be a voice for victims at all levels of government.

BREAKING: We are launching an investigation into ActBlue’s donation verification process and suspected fraudulent contributions.
Missourians deserve confidence that political donations are legitimate and not from foreign sources.

Thank you to our Franklin County Central Committee for hosting an incredible event tonight. Republicans are fired up to get to the polls and vote for strong, conservative leadership. We are working every day with our grassroots activists to get out the vote and win up and down the ballot!

Illegal immigrants should not be represented in Congress.
In a win for Missourians, the federal government has agreed that counting noncitizens in the Census would compromise representation, and has issued a proposed regulation that forbids including illegal immigrants in the 2030 Census and 2031 congressional apportionment.
Our office has moved to dismiss our litigation in light of this development. We are glad the Trump Administration is taking action and we will continue fighting to ensure citizens’ voices are never diluted in favor of illegal immigrants.

Attorney General @HanawayforMO is right: Fraudsters follow the money.
Republican AGs are proud to stand with the Trump Administration to root out waste, fraud, and abuse and hold criminals accountable!

We will never forget those who lost their lives 25 years ago, nor will we forget the sacrifice of those who stood up in the face of evil and fought back when it mattered most.
During last week’s visit to the Flight 93 crash site, I had the privilege to see and say a prayer at the point of impact. I continue to pray for our nation and for all the innocent lives lost on 9/11 twenty-five years ago. May God bless you all.

Amendment 6 is an un-American proposal designed to permanently prevent laws and constitutional amendments from being reconsidered by the people. This decision upends decades of precedent on the single-subject rule and clears the way for an anti-democratic scheme that shifts power to out-of-state special interests, undermines the will of Missourians, and threatens the fundamental character of our republic.
Missourians believe in self-government and in the longstanding ability to revisit and refine our laws through accountable, representative processes. Amendment 6 would entrench large swaths of our Constitution and block the people’s elected leaders and voters themselves from reexamining state laws and constitutional provisions, even when supermajorities deem change necessary. Laws in a healthy democracy remain accountable to its people, unfinished, and an ever-evolving pursuit of what is just and true. The promise of our American system is that no generation gets to remove the foundations of freedom from the next.

It was a beautiful night in Crawford County hearing directly from voters and reminding Missourians just how important this mid-term election is for the future of our nation.
2 for 2 today in defense of Missouri voters.
The U.S. and Missouri Constitutions vest the responsibility of setting congressional districts with the people’s elected state legislatures, not an out-of-state dark money machine seeking to disenfranchise voters and hijack Missouri’s elections after primaries had already been completed.
The Missouri FIRST Map remains the law of the land. Proud of our team’s efforts to uphold the Constitution and defend the will of the people’s elected representatives.

It’s time to go after all types of Medicaid fraud: provider, caregiver, recipient, beneficiary, or otherwise.
My office, alongside 16 other attorneys general, has sent a letter to Congress supporting the STOP FRAUD in Medicaid Act, which would allow states to investigate and prosecute all fraud.
