Do you? Over 65 countries kicked out the English colonial state but Scotland is not a colony? Attached for you an image in PUCK magazine, the US' leading magazine at the end of the 19th century clearly showing Scotland is an English colony: everybody knew at the time Scotland was an English colony. As a high level Global South politician told me: don't worry everybody understands or will that Scotland would not have given up its freedom unless it was under coercion and bribery because nobody gives away his liberty. Do you simply repeat the colonial English version of history like all colonisers? You do understand given where you're standing you have zero credibility? Do you know about the illegal extension of the English Crown over the Scottish Crown which still exists (you do know there is no territorial union don't you?)? Do you know about the Claim of Right fully violated by the English colonial state? Do you know that the colonial Treaty of Union was never implemented? Do you know about the fact the English Crown vested Scottish oil & gas revenues in the English Crown (what real state would have to do that unless its annexation & territorial alienation)? The Royal Commission on Scottish Affairs (1952-54) created to lie to the international community saying Scotland entered voluntarily into a union with England and is not a dependency when the UN was asking to decolonise Scotland (which real state would do that unless it feared UN decolonisation ?)? The fact that Jamaica, India, Barbados etc were all English colonies (Jamaica was conquered by England while it was also colonising Scotland. Scots, a colonized people, were brought in as servants. You do know that right?)? That the East India Company was English in law? That Scots were forbidden by law to be part of the English empire before annexation? That the law in all.the English Empire was English law? English law! British gas always meant English. It's England colonial veil to annex Scotland since annexation was as illegal then as it is now. That Liberation Scotland, Scotland's liberation movement, with Professor Robert Black KC, Scotland's leading law authority, have proven annexation? That Scots (Irish and Welsh) are officially called English by the English colonial foreign office in countries around the world in foreign languages and it's defended officially by the FCDO? You do know the central bank is called the Bank of England don't you (more evidence. Do you even understand what that means?)? You do know Scotland is run by English intelligence? That all institutions are captured? That MI5 pays all sorts of people in Scotland? That Scotland has no media (colonially reserved matter)? You do know we are meeting high level diplomats and politicians globally don't you? which all understand Scotland is an English colony? What do you think of the genocide, deportations, ethnic cleansing etc that took place in Scotland? What about the linguicide? What about the ports and all logistics being destroyed for all trade to go through England? About the over 150£ billion stolen annually from Scotland? About the colonial ledgers GERS and Barnett Formula? About the colonial voting system? Do you know about nuclear colonialism? Why are nuclear weapons 40km from Glasgow and not from London? Etc etc. Any honest person knows its colonisation, that Scotland is an English colony. Do you understand colonialism? Annexation ? Territorial alienation? Do you know Scotland is an older state than England which was recognised all over Europe? The English colonial state is a criminal state, a global threat to peace and security. It is illegally occupying Scotland and must and will leave. It's expulsion from Scotland will trigger UN Security Council reform. The world will teach the English colonial state a huge lesson. It's time.

Does the Act of Union still apply?
The Act of Union (correctly, the Acts of Union, Scottish and English) never applied other than to ratify the Treaty of Union – and that treaty has never been implemented in its most fundamental and paramount condition since the day it was signed.
What lies behind this question is how the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland really functions. The answer is this: as the same fundamentally coercive regime that ran the English Empire, on the basis of A. V. Dicey's dictum that "the English Parliament can make or unmake any law whatever." That includes the international law of treaties – with its principle, then and now, that pacta sunt servanda (treaties must be respected) – on which the UK claims to be founded as a "voluntary partnership."
To see this in its clearest terms: Dicey, in his 1885 'landmark' book Introduction to the Study of the Law of the Constitution, offered the defining pronouncement that Britain has an "Imperial Constitution." Ordinary (English) common law, as historian Caroline Elkins puts it in her book Legacy of Violence – A History of the British Empire, accommodates within it any action to avert any existential threat to the British state.
We Scots – the "voluntary partner" – live, as so many nation states have lived over the past three centuries, under that "Imperial Constitution", and all the excesses it implies. The Treaty of Union, with the international weight such a solemn document should carry, is worthless.
Thanks are due to Craig Murray for his efforts in bringing this case: first, on behalf of the individuals subject to Draconian law, the misuse of which has been condemned by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. It might be noted that the misapplication of this law ALSO breaches the Scottish 1689 Claim of Right, stated, without irony, by the British state to be one of its foundational documents. Second, in defending Scots law in its abused, diminished and frankly abject condition; and, third, in shining a light on the coercive and despotic nature of the so-called Union, occasionally and almost mockingly referred to by English politicians as their "precious" Union.

Did the colonial collaborator of the English colonial state mention Scotland's an English colony? I gues not. Scotland's annexation is fully demonstrated and being exposed at the UN, generating erga omnes obligations including for you. Colonialism will end in Scotland. A constitutional referendum which determines the future of a nation must meet international standards. First it is binding. The 2014 vote was not. Second the franchise must not include anyone who happens to have a 2nd home, be a temporary reside resident or worker or have arrived 5 minutes ago. You’re not deciding on a local council but an entire country. Third the media coverage is even handed. Check Swiss referendum rules for comparison. Fourth no dirty tricks by the state - eg oil is running out, industries will leave, pensions will be lost, no EU membership for Scotland. Fifth You don’t breach the purdah period to promise devo max in return for a no vote two days before the vote.

The British state, according to this trumpet blower for the colonialism which in 1921 forced partition in his own country of Ireland, for its eternal purpose of extraction of resource and value and which continues to keep hold of Scotland for the same purpose, is "the greatest country on earth".
Tell that to the billions who have escaped its grasping and extractive clutches, and those multiple nations which are still suffering from this zombie imperial state's belligerence. There is barely a coup or war of aggression which it is not behind, including Ukraine, Iran, Syria, Serbia, Libya, and as many others as you care to mention. Scotland is submitted to permanent disinformation from the English colonial state & attacked by Brigade 77, a cyber unit of the English coloniser's armies against Scotland & Scots like in all colonial regimes. Called an English colony in the UN record, Scotland's decolonisation is exposing the reality of the colonial scam that is the "UK", which is just England's colonial veil for the colonisation of Scotland and Ireland. Annexation is already demonstrated and confirmed. Examination from the international justice system will confirm the English colonial state's presence in Scotland is foreign occupation. Naturally, the English colonial state is lobbying to block that. It has lied to the international community about a "voluntary union" which never existed since it's just English colonialism; risking exclusion from the UN Security Council.

What Was Taken: The Ledger of English Colonial Extraction
"You cost more than you produce. You would starve without us."
That was the lie told in every English colony across Asia, Africa, the Caribbean. It’s the exact lie still told to Scotland today.
(A quick indicative evaluation based on available data and historical ledgers, applying Patnaik’s 5% real sovereign compounding rate to test the scale of what was taken; imperfect but meaningful. Not evaluating neocolonialism here):
-INDIA (1765-1938 | 173 yrs): $45.0 Trillion minimum
(Prof. Utsa Patnaik, 2017. Clock starts at the 1765 Farman granting the Diwani to "the English Company." Excluded: 165 years of pre-1765 extraction, and the £1.3 billion of unrequited sterling balances run up in 1939-45; a debt then repaid in blocked, non-convertible currency, while the inflationary financing of wartime procurement collapsed rural purchasing power in Bengal and three million died. Compounded, those war balances alone add trillions. The $45T is a floor).
-SCOTLAND (1707-Present | 319+ yrs): $12.0-$15.0 minimumTrillion (cf. below)
-IRELAND (1169-1921 | 752 yrs): $7.0-$9.0 Trillion minimum
(Confiscated land rents 1660-1801 capped at $3.0-$5.0T, with ~11 million acres transferred as Catholic landholding fell from 60% of Ireland in 1641 to 5% by 1776. Absentee landlord rents 1801-1921 = $1.8T. Fiscal over-taxation proved by Westminster's own 1896 Childers Commission at £2.75M/yr = $2.0T. Excluded: the Famine; one million dead, one million driven out, food exported from Irish ports throughout; and the Munster and Ulster plantations before 1660. The true figure is higher. Also the start of actual colonisation can be debated).
-JAMAICA (1655-1962 | 307 yrs): $7.4 Trillion minimum
(Brattle Group Reparations Report, convened by ICJ Judge Robinson. Enslaved labor rents, sugar monoculture, and post-emancipation dispossession).
-REST OF THE ENGLISH CARIBBEAN (1627-1960s+): ~$5.0 Trillion minimum
(Aggregated from Brattle Group national findings for Barbados, Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, and the Leeward/Windward Islands. Combined Caribbean total: ~$12.4T of England's $23.4T global slavery liability, the remainder falling to the United States and other claimant states. In 1833, England borrowed £20m to compensate 46,000 slaveholders; the enslaved got nothing. Paid off in 2015).
-MALAYA (1874-1957 | 83 yrs): $1.8-$2.5 Trillion minimum
(Mechanism: Jomo K.S. Post-WWII Dollar Pool confiscation, on top of 70 years of tin and rubber export surplus).
-BURMA (1824-1948 | 124 yrs): $1.2-$1.6 Trillion minimum
(Mechanism: J.S. Furnivall. Integration into Indian Home Charges; unrequited rice and oil surpluses).
-NIGERIA (1861-1960 | 99 yrs): $850 Billion-$1.1 Trillion minimum
(Mechanism: Walter Rodney. Marketing Board price suppression; reserves locked in low-yield London bonds).
-KENYA (1895-1963 | 68 yrs): $450-$600 Billion minimum
(Mechanism: Land records. Expropriation of 7.5M acres in the White Highlands; poll-tax labor cartels).
AND THEN THERE IS SCOTLAND (1707-Present | 319+ yrs): $12.0-$15.0 Trillion minimum
(Based on £150B+ annual contemporary resource/energy extraction, trillions in total North Sea hydrocarbon wealth siphoned away; wiping out the sovereign wealth fund that on Norway’s model would today stand comparable to Norway's own $2.2 trillion; arbitrary Westminster debt overheads; deliberate deindustrialisation; destruction of ports/transport & logistics; whisky & other export revenue theft...).
Every figure above except one was produced by external experts talked to do this; a leading economist, an international report convened by an ICJ judge, a royal commission of the coloniser's own parliament.
Scotland's is the sole exception, because no institution has ever been asked to count it.
There is a permanent, publicly funded colonial annual exercise establishing what colonised Scotland supposedly costs England. There has never been one establishing what England took and takes; what England steals from Scotland.
The parallel with Ireland reveals the state's entire playbook:
-In 1896, Westminster’s Childers Commission proved Ireland was systematically over-taxed. London buried it.
-In 1954, a Royal Commission proclaimed Scotland a "voluntary partner" to avoid decolonisation and lie to the UN and the international community. London has quoted it for 70 years.
-In 1992, Westminster created GERS to fabricate an artificial Scottish "deficit" and bury Scotland's sovereign asset potential.
Every account above was closed when the flag came down.
Scotland's is open. The £150 billion is this year's.
Loot the wealth and cook the ledger. Then blame the victim and fund a statistics department to “prove” it.

The ancient union is an ancient lie. The British/English state under its pseudonyms of Great Britain and the UK, still believes that just by repeating that old lie loudly enough and often enough, it can make it into a fact. (This is a state that believes the truth becomes whatever it says!) It has been successful so far and so it still believes its lies cannot be challenged.
It is wrong.
Scots do not have to accept the giant pylons marching across our landscape to take our energy south. We do not have to accept their massive wind farms. We do not have to accept their monstrous data centres. We do not have to accept their dangerous and vast storage batteries. We do not have to accept the toxic salmon farms or nuclear subs or more nuclear power.
And Holyrood, legally the administrative arm of Westminster in Scotland, has absolutely no authority to accept these horrors on our behalf since neither Westminster nor Holyrood was ever lawfully granted the right to administer the sovereign territorial rights of the Scottish Crown/people.
The Anglo-British coloniser trusted that Scots would never challenge its claims of partnership, of a new kingdom of Great Britian, of lawful Westminster authority in Scotland. So far it has been proved right. But, at the same time it has gone to great lengths to avoid a territorial challenge on behalf of a Crown it hopes you do not know about, a Crown it pretends was replaced in 1707 by a single Crown, the fictional ‘British’ Crown that is somehow both the same English Crown that was established in 1066 and the new combined GB Crown ... It hides the truth behind half-truths and serpentine logic fuelled by its endless sense of entitlement.
Meanwhile the Scottish Crown inconveniently continues!! And this means?
It means that Scotland is a sovereign territorial nation. Why? Because instead of the new kingdom and the new state, England dismantled the Scottish state, renamed itself - without any pause or alteration - and 'extended' the English Crown over Scotland.
So two Crowns still remain. A kingdom is simply the territorial jurisdiction of a Crown. And so two kingdoms still remain, no matter what you have been told. (The kingdom of Great Britain, the one that was supposed to be created by the Treaty of Union, the one you were told replaced the kingdoms of Scotland and England, never came into existence. There is only England with Scotland added to its domains.)
Scotland's territorial assets are currently administered by the English Crown ('the' Crown). The ‘Crown Estate’ in Scotland? Still just the English Crown with some of its stolen Scottish holdings ‘devolved’. If you look, you'll find another British fable, the weird - and impossible - fable of aBritish Crown with a different constitutional character in Scotland from that of the Crown in England!! Impossible.
It is essential to be clear about this. The Crown is the highest legal authority across the so-called UK. But there is no single British Crown! There’s no one Crown with two strangely incompatible constitutional identities. There are two Crowns, two kingdoms and two nations and the Scottish Crown remains the true title holder to the lands and seas of Scotland. (And this is why Scotland remains a sovereign territorial nation.)
The Scottish Crown does two things: it vests title to the lands and seas of Scotland in the Community of the Realm (people). This is because the Scottish Crown is the legal identity of the Community of the Realm/people and no legal mechanism can take away the territorial sovereignty of the Scottish Crown or the title to the territorial assets which is vested, not in any monarch, but in the Scots themselves.
And that makes every deal to hand over the assets of the people/Scottish Crown to foreign corporations, Freeport consortiums or to any other part of the UK (England) null and void where permission has not been sought from the owners - us. No government in the so-called UK has the legal authority to do this. The British state has simply assumed an authority it does not have.
This is why the English Parliament passed a Petroleum Extraction Act in 1934 to ‘vest’ the oil and gas in the person of the English king (Crown) and why Blair moved the maritime boundary to take Scottish waters for England on the eve of devolution. Neither action would have been necessary if a real single Crown/kingdom/UK existed. One
What the English state and its proxies are doing in Scotland is called territorial alienation, exploiting, leasing or selling off the territorial assets which are the exclusive property of a distinct people. (Scots are already recognised internationally as a distinct people.)
And this continues - this piracy, this disposal of our assets and destruction of our environment and our future - because one fact, hiding in plain sight, has been buried in sly and grandiose British rhetoric.
If we come together in one 'Salvo Jure' campaign - saving the rights of all of (Salvo jure cujus libet!) - tapping into Salvo’s hubs and membership, creating alliances across every group and community that stands ready to take back our territorial rights, we can reclaim it all.
This is not romance, not a cry for ‘freedom which no good man gives up except with his life’. This is a simple assertion of a powerful legal right, a title vested in us in just the same way the territorial assets of the English Crown are vested in the constitutional persona of their monarch. (Not our king btw.)
It is a right that has been violated and is being violated because we did not know the truth - that someone stole our birthright with a lie. It is time to challenge the lie and take our birthright back.
Are you ready to do something about it? Or already doing something and want to combine forces to end the territorial alienation, to take back control of our territorial and maritime assets and reclaim the soverign right to protect our envorinment?

Every pro-independence Scot needs to understand this. 👇👇👇Please share and keep sharing.🙏
"Reclaiming sovereignty is a route to the international courts and to a declaration of independence and reclaiming Scotland's sovereignty.
"This is about how you get independence. It's still not accepted by the Scottish National Party, still not understood by many people. Independence is not a question of domestic politics.
"Independence is a question of international law.
"Independence is your existence as a state in relation to other international states.
"And it's that recognition which makes you an independent state, nothing to do with your domestic politics. If other states recognise you as an international state, you are a state.
"It doesn't matter what the UK government thinks, they don't have a veto. All of this is part of the practical path to independence. The political route is a dead end. It's deliberately a dead end.
"The entire colonial system of administering Scotland through a puppet council in Holyrood that calls itself a parliament and which does nothing, in fact, about independence, all of that is 'a blind', that route, everyone can see it's stalled.
"The SNP could win another five elections on the trot and they still won't actually do anything about independence.
"To achieve independence, you have to go down the routes we are doing. Of course, that has to be allied with increasing domestic support for independence and for your eventual Declaration of Independence and assertion of that in the international fora.
"Of course, you need domestic support and to build it, but the UK political process is a complete and utter dead end. What we are doing is essential to independence.
"And finally, I would say it still astonishes me that there are literally hundreds of people, from the SNP, employed in one way or another, employed in highly paid jobs as MPs, as MPs, assistants, as research assistants, as special advisors, as members of the Scottish Parliament, as government ministers.
"There are all these professional people who are paid. None of us, nobody here is getting paid a penny. And we are doing for nothing what these paid hacks from the SNP should have been doing a decade ago." Craig Murray

The UK government declared to the world that Scotland is a voluntary partner of England, as Sara Salyers points out below. Whatever the difficulties of that UK assertion, and there are several, deadly to the proposition, you have the extraordinary gall or the burgeoning ignorance to come on here and tell people it is something yet again.
The Brithish government believes it can define the Union in multiple ways according to the need of the moment – one way for the denial of dependency, 1954; another for the assertion of the rights of a continuator state, 2012. You seem to think you have permission to do likewise.
There is one truth and one truth only about the relationship between England and Scotland, and Professor Robert Black, with no little (unintended) back-up from the UK's expert constitutional jurists, James Crawford and Alan Boyle, has identified it – annexation.

A 2018 article by @jasonhickel:
"There is a story that is commonly told in Britain that the colonisation of India - as horrible as it may have been - was not of any major economic benefit to Britain itself. If anything, the administration of India was a cost to Britain. So the fact that the empire was sustained for so long - the story goes - was a gesture of Britain’s benevolence.
(Familiar at all, my fellow Scots?!)
New research by the renowned economist Utsa Patnaik -just published by Columbia University Press - deals a crushing blow to this narrative. Drawing on nearly two centuries of detailed data on tax and trade, Patnaik calculated that Britain drained a total of nearly $45 trillion from India during the period 1765 to 1938.
It’s a staggering sum. For perspective, $45 trillion is 17 times more than the total annual gross domestic product of the United Kingdom today."

If the SNP does not now get behind the push for international recognition of Scotlands right of self-determination it reveals itself as an empty husk of a thing - content to oversee our extinction as a nation with a constitutional identity and a unique history, a nation which deserves not just to survive but to point the way for small nations to restore power to the people and the common good to the heart of government.

Independence is a matter of international recognition.
International recognition for a newly independent state (or a state recovering its sovereignty), depends on either:
a. negotiated secession from a lawful, unitary state
or b. an act of decolonisation/liberation.
In Scotland’s case, it must be recovery of sovereignty - given that there is no lawful union and no operative treaty.
You cannot secede from a non existent state. The UK is in its legal and constitutional identity, England. Scotland cannot secede from England.
This has always been an international issue and a matter of treaty law.
Nothing we do domestically can resolve the international dimension.
So step one is exposing the lie of the union and persuading the international community to support our right to recover our sovereignty.
Step 2 is reclaiming the legal rights we have to our territory and resources, not through the Westminster admin (legal fact) at Holyrood but through campaigns like Salvo and then through a civic body which can act as a govt in waiting
Step 3 Is a democratic event expressing the will of the Scottish people for which we need a genuine political wing of our liberation movement (And Liberation Scotland will not become a political party because it needs to unite the whole movement. We have SNP and non party members and Greens and we all work together without the slightest animosity.)
Right now, we need minds and hands to the pump on Step 1, the international campaign and even more for the ‘reclaim our tights’ campaign, Step 2.

Traitors I said and traitors I meant. If the leaders of the main independence party does not, in fact, genuinely want independence- and that is pretty damn clear now - then that party is, to quote a former MI5 agent of my acquaintance, neutralised. It remains neutralised as long as its members refuse to see the obvious and stops being neutralised if and when they clean it out and take it back. Until then while you talk of unity the party high heedyins are briefing against the one and only campaign to get them a clear road to safe and uncontested UDI - international recognition of the right to self determination ie no need for Westminster permission. Ask yourself why, will you?
And one more thing. We are going to do this. It’s not that far off now. I now believe the SNP leadership is so captured that it will lie to Scotland and pretend it still needs Westminster permission. Why don’t you find out? Ask honest John what he plans to do if the UN General Assembly recognises Scotland’s right to external self determination. Not if he believes it will happen but what he will do if it does.
