This thing happened to us before. I was taking my mom to the hospital when we met one of my cousins who had just returned from Nigeria. We asked our Uber driver to give us a minute with him because it’s been ages since we saw each other. Upon departing, he wanted to pay for our Uber but had no cash on him. He asked for my MoMo number sent GHS 1,500. I received the alert when we got home but I told my mom that it could be a mistake but we should wait for him to call. Lo and behold, a call came and I could feel the frustration in his voice and I burst into laughter and said “ I know you would call” My guy wanted to sent 150 cedis but mistakenly added another zero on top. I sent the money back to him and he gave me 100 cedis for airtime. Not everyone is that thoughtful. I just hope she thinks twice about what she’s about to do..
