I’m completely redpilled on public schools. I went to good ones. Had good teachers. Did well. Now I’m in the system and leaving ASAP. Kids who succeed do it despite public school, not because of it. One massive failure is the refusal to expel the kids who bite, spit, and punch teachers when they’re told no (hello! this is how my year is going so far🙃) One undisciplined child poisons the entire class for the kids whose parents actually raised them. If your kid can’t meet the most basic standard of not assaulting adults (or other students!), the school should not be required to accommodate you. Deal with the child you created. This is feminist thinking and suicidal empathy in action. There are standards for living among other people. If you can’t meet them, you don’t get to drag everyone else down with you. Consequences belong on the parents until the parents start giving consequences to their kids.
