No. Never has. The datapoint to prove it was finally evidenced when Michael Fedorov resigned as Ukraine Minister of Defense. Fedorov noted neither he nor Zelenskyy controlled the battlefield commanders.
The Ukraine military operates independently, much like a mercenary unit; however, the commanders tell the government what to do. Those same commanders also require and demand generous financing, which is ultimately why Zelenskyy keeps asking for more money to pay their indulgency fees.
Ukraine military operates depending on who is paying them in cash, crypto or bullion. The leadership have very nice lifestyles outside Ukraine.
That's the non-pretending reality of the matter, and every U.S-EU-NATO politician is very well aware of it.

I honestly do not understand how any American who is not already a literal Communist or a literal Jihadist could vote Democrat after hearing what Slotkin said below.

With the Slotkin comments fresh in everyone's mind, it's worth revisiting what Susan Rice warned about should Democrats take power.
They've been very open about what they want to do.
Rice promised in February that Democrats will punish people, companies and institutions who have “taken a knee to Trump.”
“It’s not going to end well for them."
“If these corporations think that the Democrats, when they come back in power, are going to play by the old rules…they’ve got another thing coming."
“There will be an accountability agenda."
“This is not going to be an instance of forgive and forget."
So anyone that dared to be affiliated with the Trump admin will be targeted for political and legal reprisals, per Rice.

Long before mass immigration, France’s enemies were already inside.
For generations, the left taught people to hate their own country and history. Mass immigration of those who shared that hatred handed them an army of foot soldiers to destroy everything good and beautiful.
Immigration is only a multiplier. The deeper problem is the growing number of people who hate civilization and love its destruction.
Closing the borders, remigration, and denaturalization are necessary, but they only deal with the imported half of the problem.
