For good classroom management: 1) Know your students 2) Try very hard to like your students 3) Decide what expectations you really care about 4) Enforce those expectations from the jump

In Oktibbeha County, Cassandra Palmer seems poised to take a seat on the Starkville Oktibbeha County Consolidated School District Board of Trustees. She leads Ronnie Tucker by over 200 votes. There are 78 absentee and 15 affidavits to count. Those shouldn't change the outcome.

Through our partnership with @OCH_Regional, SOSD has hosted four vaccination clinics, and nearly 500 members of our #JacketFamily have received their covid vaccine! Thank you, Jackets! 🖤💛#StayingSafeTogether

Tomorrow, the 2020-2021 school year will finally come to an end. This year was full of uncertainties, challenges and was tough BUT my teacher people are tougher. 💛🖤 Here’s to REST, no masks, and no scheduled bathroom breaks (for a few weeks! 😉)@SudduthJackets #expectexcellence

And that’s a wrap on one of the toughest years of my teaching career. These kiddos have been like a little family and have THRIVED. I will always cherish my time with them! 🖤💛#jacketfamily @SudduthJackets @StarkvilleSD

All the feels this morning as the #SHSClassof2021 visited campuses across the district for cap & gown walk-throughs. Seeing former teachers & inspiring our youngest Jackets, it's the last time they'll grace these halls before graduation. 😭😭🐝🖤💛 #ExpectExcellence #sparksfly
